Well technically we didn't know at the time it was Smash Ultimate or Smash 5/6, but yeah 8th March 2018 was the first time we knew Super Smash Bros was coming to Nintendo Switch. Its not exactly the game's birthday, but it is definitely the anniversary of the hype train reigniting.
Honestly does not feel like it's been half a decade. Funny looking back at our initial reactions and the speculation of the characters in the fire etc, little did we know what was coming!
