Biggest upset right now I would say is Tweek going 0-2 in pools so far.

There was a lot of hype for Tweek to do really well at summit. Heck he was the 2nd seed after MKLeo. One of Tweek's biggest hurdles in Ultimate was his identity crisis for mains. Finally, he seems to have solidified himself with a Diddy main and Wolf/Sephiroth secondary. Unfortunately, he has his other biggest problem: getting in his own head. If there is one thing that Tweek has struggled with, it is his bad habit to snatch defeat from the jaws of victory. Losing the ditto to Aaron shook Tweek hard. Watch his set vs Spargo, he seems...off. He clearly is not doing as hot as he could be.

If there is one takeaway so far that the community will have, it is that Pyra and Mythra are incredibly strong in an offline environment. 4/16 players at summit are using the two, more than anyone else. While Leo has not whipped them out yet, Cosmos and Spargo are doing incredibly well. Spargo won both his sets, and while Cosmos lost to Zackray, he still held his own. Players like Aaron and Peanut are already making the Pythra top 3 call that Leo made a few weeks ago. Their results also are blowing up on Orion stats. if they do well here, I would not be surprised if more people picked up Pythra.

Those who have gone 0-2, who were typically the second seed of each pool, will have to make quite the run in the loser's gauntlet. Those who have gone 2-0 have a chance to advance to winner's side of the final bracket. It's looking as if Maister, Dark Wizzy, and Dabuz will have to make up their losses in the round robins in the gauntlet stage if the above matches are any indication. Meanwhile, Leo is still proving to people that he's still amazing despite using Byleth thus far and not either the Aegis or Joker.

Ken is almost inarguably the best Sonic, and yet very few top Sonics try to emulate his style. It's kind of baffling.

With pools finished, MKLeo, Zackray, Sparg0, and Marss advance to the winner's side in the final bracket. Interestingly enough, Pool B had to go through Tiebreakers as Tweek, KEN, and Aaron all went 1-2. In the end, Tweek came out the winner of the three (poor KEN had to play Tweek twice in the Diddy-Sonic matchup).
Now we're in the gauntlet stage with the following groups to determine who is in winner's and loser's in the final bracket:
A: Tweek, Cosmos, Maister
B: CDK, Riddles, Dark Wizzy
C: VoiD, Atomsk, Aaron
D: Kola, Ken, Dabuz
It's going to be interesting to see who ends up in winner's from these groups.
