The fact that this alt exists in smash ultimate got me to wanting to play pichu

One thing I hope for the DLC characters is that they have their own animated trailers instead of using in game stuff to introduce them. The closest thing we got in Smash 4 was Corrin's reveal, but that was just a recreation of the Fates decision cutscene.

I'd love it too, but Piranha Plant didn't get a specially animated one, just in-game rendering. Plus those cutscenes have to be uber expensive and time consuming to produce.

Also was I the only one who instantly realized that they were going to announce Corrin (or as we Americans still pretty much knew him/her as, Kamui) upon seeing that cutscene? Most reaction videos I have seen show that people were utterly confused.

I'm pretty sure that's a supposed to be a joke nod at the fact that actual megazords are actually just people in costumes pretending to be giant robots.

Thats why its so dumb.. A guy from GWAR would have been a better choice, their monster outfits kind of look like Power Ranger bad guys and you would get cool music with it.

if Microsoft is sending Steve they're definetly sending Banjo, so Steve is only more hope for Banjo to come

That would mean that Microsoft would get 2 of the 5 DLC slots or Minecraft representation is not in the form of a Fighter. Both of which I find to be unlikely, but not impossible. If there is a season 2 pack, which I think is about 80-90% possible depending on how things go with season 1. Then yes Banjo is in for sure, but right now it honestly doesn't look likely.

Ha! That's funny. I remembered coming up with this bet that the DLC characters are going to be Bandana Waddle Dee, Eldeguard, Elma, Sora, and Dante, and if I was wrong about any of them, I would play through the entieroty of Nekopara-the uncensored version.

I can see Banjo joining in two ways:

-A Microsoft-themed pack: some say that each pack can only have a franchise, but i feel like Microsoft could make a deal for one themed about them in general. My idea for this concept is to get Banjo for the fighter, a stage in the form of Minecraft, and a musical collection from many properties owned by Microsoft (Minecraft, Banjo, Conker, Halo, Battletoads, etc...). This way, they can pull with ease all the Microsoft content in Smash, in a satisfactory way.

-Banjo pack in a second batch.

I really don't think so, Piranha plant didn't necesarily have any fans before this and most of the plant fans just love him because he's so goofy and strange. Same with R.O.B. and Game & Watch fans really.

Celebi got his own event, and a cool one at that.

Quick question, how prominent is Stitch (aka, the best Disney character of all time) in Kingdom Hearts?
I don't think he'll show up in Smash or anything, I just really like hearing about Stitch

Stitch is like my favorite Disney character. Watched every movie and episode of the cartoon. The anime thing is really weird though.

He appears for brief moments in the mid-game of Kingdom Hearts 2 and then becomes a summon, and in Birth By Sleep (I think?) There's a Lilo & Stitch chapter which takes place before the movie and you fight Gantu. I didn't play BBS but I think that's how it goes.
