Official Smash Ultimate Discussion

Almost one month has passed since release. In retrospect....

  • This is by far the best Smash ever. Like, I don't even know how they will top this.

  • Pretty freakin' good; I have a few qualms over things like internet play, balancing issues, etc.

  • It's ok, but [insert Smash game here] is better.

  • I'd rather play Parcheesi.

I have to destroy the Eevee population from the universe, so Doomguy can use the bodies against the new menaces from hell.

Depends.

Granblue is veeeeeeeeery f2p friendly. They give out free **** like crazy. HOWEVER, their are "P2W" elements since getting characters from the gacha is completely random.

I haven’t been paying much attention to really anything this past weekend but is Sora still being talked about? Because if Sora and Kingdom Hearts is a thing, I know it’ll be a legal and licensing headache and I have zero confidence in SE to provide ample representation in Smash.

But how hype would it be to get “Simple and Clean” by Utada Hikaru in either the Reveal trailer or the character showcase trailer? I remember seeing the commercial for it on tv and the song is what sold the game to me.

As someone who rolls his eyes everytime I see a Verlsify or Jim Sterling video when I look up gaming videos, I understand your frustriation. However, you can just save yourself some trouble and not pay any attention to them.

I don't believe Sora is still being discussed.

However, Hikari/Simple and Clean would be a super hype part of the trailer.

I'd fully expect this version to be used.

There's a threshold of aesthetic inconsistency that Smash, as a crossover game, must allow for. I cannot tell you where exactly this threshold lies, but I can tell you that Steve rests comfortably outside of it. He doesn't fit in, and I say that fully aware that G&W exists.

You would think the existence of the entirely 2D character you acknowledge would dent this argument quite a bit...

Don’t lean on the mic you could knock it over and it could get damaged. It’s just a very unsafe action.

It does happen a lot though.

I'm not saying I lord it over anyone, but it really does happen a lot.

Chorus Kids (Numerous people who'd never touch RH were all about them in Smash 4 after their leak)
Mach Rider (People latched on here and were already preparing themselves for their ''deconfirm")
Katalina suddenly has supporters.

It does happen a lot and there's nothing wrong with it.

But it is funny the intial reaction typically is ''WHY THEM AND NOT __ INSTEAD." and then it becomes ''Aww man I kinda really wanted them."
