Smash Ultimate 64 Format

I made a Smash Ultimate format based on the original Super Smash Brothers. The goal of this format is to have a casual (or competitive) experience similiar to the first entry in the series.

The Ruleset

Style: Stock
Stocks: 5 (if you're using this number of stocks and you feel that the games are taking too long to complete, you may change it to 3)
Time Limit: 8:00
Final Smash Meter: Off
Spirits: Off
CPU Level: Your choice
Damage Handicap: Off
Stage Selection: Random
Items: Your choice, but preferably Off. If you do want to use items, use only the items listed here (excluding the Fan. You may also remove the Hammer, if you so desire, or by casting votes).
Damage Ratio: 1.0x
Pause: Your choice, but preferably On.
Hazards: On

You may only use the characters from the first row in the Character Select screen (except Dark Samus).

The Stages

The Stages used here are the ones used in the first game. Remember that you may only set them in the normal format, not Battlefield or Omega form (though Battlefield is already preset on Dream Land)(If you have the Stage Selection rule on Random, you can skip this part).

  • Peach's Castle
  • Kongo Jungle
  • Hyrule Castle
  • Mushroom Kingdom
  • Super Happy Tree
  • Dream Land
  • Saffron City
(Planet Zebes and Sector Z aren't included in Ultimate)
