Introduction
Smash 4 Wii U is out for a month now and all over the Smash-forums and Youtube you can see tournaments all over the world. Sadly most of these tournaments I see are held in America and Japan. I still have fun watching them, but participating in one is a hole different thing. Germany's smash scene is pretty active but there aren't many tournaments at the moment, especially in the north. Two weeks ago a friend and I were talking about holding a Smash-fest in Lübeck eventually. With the help of another friend we were able to find a location really quickly and started planing the event. After the first tournament we will try to host a whole series, but for now we're concentrating on this one, doing the best we can to do it properly and gather as many experience as we can.

Further Information:

The location is 15 minutes away form the train station by foot.
It's central in the inner city with shops and restaurants nearby.
Internet, projector and projection screen are available.
We will probably sell beverages.
There are no showers so if you need one you have to go to a swimming bath 10 minutes away.

Expenses:

Venue fee: 9 €
Smash 4 singles: 12 € (obligatory event)
Smash 4 doubles: 4 €
Brawl: 2 €

So overall: 27 € (for all events)

Big lagless TV: 5 €
Small or laggy TV: 2 €
Wii U + gcc -Adapter: 2 €
Multiple plug: 0,50 €

Is there any information regarding staying over night, is it possible to sleep at the venue, or are their any cheap - cost efficient - places nearby the venue?

There is a gym in the venue with mats, You just have to bring a sleeping bag. I haven't checked out if there are any cost efficient places to sleep in but i don't think that's necessary either. I would check though if anybody is interested or doesn't want to sleep in the venue.
