Smash Switch Speculation: Wii Fit

Note: These articles are more for discussion purposes before E3. They'll be short, sweet, and to the point for a brief recap and looking into possible characters/stages for each series in Smash Bros. These also go by a "Don't expect too much" philosophy. Please remember to be civil in the comments discussion.

Smash has a history of introducing one-off characters from smaller franchises. The Wii Fit Trainer and the Splatoon franchises are the only ones we haven't quite covered yet, so we'll start with Wii Fit Trainer. These are a bit brief now that it's wrapping up,

Returning Characters

Wii Fit Trainer will probably return. It's hard to not see the Wii Fit Trainer get one.
New Characters

Wii Fit probably won't get a new character. With searching, it's hard to find any sort of possible fit.

Returning Stages

Wii Fit Trainer's stage will probably return even if she doesn't. It was a pretty unique stage.
New Stages

Any new stages to be added will be added in place of Wii Fit Trainer's stage, most likely.

In all seriousness, I wouldn’t be surprised if we got something along the lines of Wii Fit U. Maybe Wii Fit Trainer getting a graphical update to reflect the Wii Fit U Trainer and maybe a stage from that. Tilt City seems to be a frontliner in terms of potential stages.
