'Smash Scenes' Documentary Ventures In Deep With Hawaii's Melee Community

For the fifth episode of the 'Smash Scenes' documentary series, the GosuJasu team shines the light on one of lesser known communities, the Hawaiian Melee community.

'Hawaii Melee' covers the true essence, vibe and history that comes from the community as well as the community's thoughts of what it's like to start completely from grassroots stages of the scene to how united the community is now.

"The hawaii melee community has survived for a long time and stuck together through thick and thin." says series Co-creator Jason "GosuJasu" Russak. The Hawaii melee community is continuously making the best of what they have within their competitive region. Many members of their community have a lot of experience and history to add to the games meta.

The 'Smash Scenes' series will take a month hiatus to uncover hidden potential in local smash scenes around the world to tell their story. When they return on October 25th, content will be released weekly by content creators, aforementioned Russak and Togglesings on their YouTube channel. Don't forget to follow them on Twitter for more updates about the 'Smash Scenes' series, smash content and other future projects.
