Alright, used search but found zip, so if there's something for this, I apologize.

I just got this game on my Virtual Console a week or so ago (just beat it tonight) and was wondering if Treasure should get ANY representation. Now I know that Gunstar Heroes is VERY unlikely for anything (even an AT) but I'd simply love it if we got an AT (heck even a sticker would be good) for this awesome game! Now being the positive person I am...I've decided to make a move list for a character who appears quite a few times in the game

SMASH DAISAKU!

<--Not my picture.

Smash Daisaku (he even has Smash in his name XD) would/could be a rep from Gunstar Heroes (and is possibly one of the more recognizable characters in the game). He appeared in Gunstar Heroes (which is on the VC) and a different "version" of him appeared in Gunstar Super Heroes (for the GBA). Smash Daisaku is a reoccuring villian who attacks you several times throughout the game and is finally defeated in the game's 5th level.

Possible Movelist:
B: Magma Gun-Smash takes out his gun and fires a blast of magma that flies in a zig-zagging pattern.
Side-B: Jetpack Dash- Smash flies in a direct line across from himself, enveloped in a glowing blue energy.
Down-B: Bomb Toss- Smash lobs a small blue bomb at his enemy. The bomb has a good blast radius.
Up B: Jetpack Boost- Smash flies straight upwards with his jetpack.

A-Attacks: Smash (for some reason) has the ability to strech out his legs to attack your character. Whether he can do this with his arms wasn't shown in the game, but if he COULD do that, then it would be VERY easy to think up an A-Movelist for him.

Throws: Throws...wow...if you've played the game then you have a good idea what Smash's up-throw would be XD His crazy little, "grab you spin you around and toss you straight into the air, all while looking totally cool," throw would be perfect.

Final Smash: Screams "I NEVER DIE!!" then proceeds to summon the members of the Empire (Pink, Green, G.I. Orange and Dr. Black) to attack the foes. ~OR~ Summons Golden Silver to attack foes.

Now I know he has VERY VERY VERY little chance, but Gunstar Heroes is almost like a cult classic. It has a very large fanbase (which it's very deserving of), and heck, it's just a really fun and addictive game. So this thread is to everyone who agrees, for everyone who loves Gunstar Heroes and thinks that it should/could be represented in any way, shape or form in Brawl!

Holy Cow Gunstar Heroes!!

GH was easily one of the genesis' best games, nothing quite like an action game pumped with adrenaline.

I'm iffy on Smash representing the series, though I think it'd probably be complicated if they had to pick between Blue & Red. Either way I like the moveset you posted it fits him well and he'd definitely be awesome.

One thing I can definitely agree to is that GH getting some rep in Brawl (even if just a sticker) would be pretty freakin sweet.

W00t, thanks for the thread bump XD In response to your question, I chose Smash Daisaku to rep the game rather than Gunstar Red or Gunstar Blue for the reason that it'd be hard to chose between Red and Blue for who would be the actual\ character. I also chose Smash over the Gunstars because he has more personality (in my opinion of course) as well as more varied move possibilities than either of the Gunstars (they basically punch, dive and use guns). And besides...Smash Daisaku..."NEVER DIES!!" (Sorry I had to XD Thank your for your contributions btw and I hope you enjoyed Gunstar Heroes ^^)

yeah but the characters are very easy to get connected too. the character could just be called Gunstar. he could have color swaps for red and blue.

With all the guns you could use he could have a very different move-set. i have played this game alot since you posted this thread. Smash does not stick out to me.

YES! I love you! I've been hinting in my wordings of everything that Treasure does to be represented in Brawl and Gunstar Heroes would be absolutely awesome.

Gunstar Red/Blue would be my first choise, not the villain as you mention because it would be kind of weird to have the antagonist and not the protagonist(s). I could really see them working well in Smash though and Treasure deserves the third-party character slot.

We already have Saki Amamiya from Treasure's Sin & Punishment as an Assist Trophy, don't we?

I don't see how it's unlikely, seeing how Saki is in the game and Sin and Punishment and Gunstar Heroes is made by the same company.

Anyway, I agree with Gerudo Warrior on this one, Red or Blue would make the best GSH rep.

Hmmm...For some reason I thought Treasure was a 3rd party team O_o;...oh well, like I said before if anyone wants to post a full moveset for Red or Blue I'd be more than happy to put it in the first post and give your credit ^^

Legal matters when it comes to characters can be pretty confusing at times.
