Smash bros melee glitch?

Occasionally when playing melee the narrators voice in the background of stages plays saying stuff that it would usually say such as success and new record. At first I though it was because I was tired but my brother heard it too. I've heard this on a few occasions. Is this a known glitch?

Are you using a hacked version of melee like the 20XX Training Hack Pack or 20XXTE ?

Nope. completely legit ssbm from a couple years ago. Pauer

Are you playing from an SSBM disc or are you loading a game image using a softmodded wii?
