Welps, I don't know how to start this post, so this may seem a little off coming from me, but it happened.


Okay, so after my ex broke up with me a long time ago, I had this CRAZY crush on one of my professors. Yes, she's in her 60's but she's quite attractive. I had a crush on her for nearly two years (part of it during my relationship). Apparently, one of my friends who is like a father figure to me informed me when I visited him that she explained to him she felt I was stalking her of some sort. I didn't realized how bad my behavior was until that came and it how I went overboard a few times. Yes, I do hang out with her outside of classes (we attend the same church as ironically I used that church for a homework assignment before I became a Christian), just for lunch with other friends from the same church. Upon realizing it, I went ahead and gave her some space/talked less to her. She did gave me a good support for the first few months of my school year last year when I had those "freshmen syndrome" thoughts with being homesick and all. Now? I only talk to her when it's related to the bible, gluten, or anything related to Doterra (a type of natural oil used instead of medicine and all)

Don't get me wrong, I love her like a mom at times, but there were times that I don't trust her because I felt backstabbed by her view on homosexuals (at the time I came out to her, I was bi, not gay) as she mentioned how gays are a "sin" (typical behavior from some of the older folks here, mind you). I went to a bible study a couple of days ago and I was impressed who how my friend who is a pastor somewhat broke a sermon about gays while I was gone (this is what you get for being out of state for so long) and it somewhat changed her view on gays of some sort. I'm not sure if it does, so I'll wait and see



ANYWAY...I talked with my pastor friend about my stalking part because I do feel that it damaged my relationship with her (she's retired from teaching and he knows about my situatuion) as a friend and like a mother figure to me. He recommend that I text her and not only apologize, but ask her for forgiveness, only to have me awkwardly explain the stalking part without going heavy. I haven't heard a response from her about it since, so I assume either she's incredibly busy, felt awkward through text and rather wait until I see her in person, or both. I'm not even sure what to do here other than awkwardly wait for Sunday. Any advise without making this whole thing awkward?

Mind you, I have my moments of being socially awkward so sometimes I say the wrong stuff without realizing it

Ahh, the pains of being socially awkward. You try to get close to others yet you end up creeping them out. It has happened to me countless of times.

My only suggestion is to apologize for any of your actions that she mistook as "stalking". It seems that your crush on the professor could also be a form of admiration. If she is as close as you say, she should understand that you might have seen her more as a friend than a trusted adult. When she is ready, she will discuss the matter one-to-one with you.

Hopefully it all works out.

All of the PP was invested on KOing Mankey in Route 42, Gator was on Lv. 35 and after gaining 5 Levels his Attack increased by more than 30 thanks to the Effort Values and the Pokérus Boost, years ago I didn't know anything about EVs, Natures, etc. so now I feel glad that I know that because I can build stronger teams despite it took me 3 hours if Random Encounters lol

I KOed a Mankey with Struggle just for the lelz, and just after that Feraligatr gave me a present for my Fashion Case, I felt strangely happy after that.

That's the thing. I'm not sure how she would respond to the situation. She's like a mom to me at times, which is why I feel close with her (I have four mother figures from my church and I trust her the least.) I'm willing to work up a more mature conversation with her without any awkwardness or immaturity, but just not sure what to say about it. Nothing's easy in this type of stuff

I saw Jurassic World today. Was really entertaining. There were some really funny moments thrown in amongst the suspense and horror moments. There were also some really nice nods to the first film. I jumped at two parts, though other parts were sort of made for you to expect what was about to happen or were more action than horror.
The climax to the movie was really great. I was in awe watching it in the cinema.

Also, I totally called an event in the film.
