If you're already a fan of Platinum Games' list of hit titles, then yes. If you're a fan of rollercoaster action games that get progressively epic and intense throughout the story, then yes. If you don't like fun, then no. If you want an idea of how engaging it is, it manages to keep menial mechanics such as Quick Time Events fun.

It's got a steep learning curve however, because it has a unique gamepad-orientated play style you have to learn to get used to.
The learning curve is what Im most worried about but since I'm really interested in the game I may be committed to actually learning it
Nope, he's actually on my DLC wishlist and I made a Brawler Layton Mii.
My Layton is a Swordsman lol

Lucky me, no one came to us yelling " Layton cant fite" yet but if they did, I have proof lol

I may be sounding salty but I really getting full of shovel knight/yacht club games before they were just some indie devs struggling to get some money to spread their 2d 8 bits concept the world, now they are going to the full "senpai notice me" promotions,I just hope the character fails at the smash ballot just to burst their ego.
/rant
Why? It's a very solid game, made up of the best of honed gameplay mechanics from stellar titles whilst helming its own identity with its quirky world/levels and non-status quo characters and bosses (ignoring Shadow the Black Knight). It's not popular because it's indie, it's popular because it's a stellar title worth the price tag. If you're sick of seeing such promotions, then just ignore them.

If you have the motivation to play, then I'd say it's worth it.

This is my awful attempt at replacing the Dr. Mario Social Thread signature.

Back to promoting my unsuccessful DeviantArt account.. ?

It looks nice, but the font doesn't quite fit the style I think. It's probably due to that letter "F" that keeps bugging me for some reason. Maybe try some other fonts for it ? And put other effects on it ? Just some tips really.

I think DeviantArt is not the best place to promote yourself nowadays, considering all the nudist portraits, fetish comics and other miscellaneous crap that plague front pages. I've only used my dA nowadays to save favorites and useful tutorials that I can find.

Yeah, I'm aware. I've been thinking about it. I have no idea what else can I replace the current signature with. Hmm..

The font used was to match the current branding that site has. I'm into flat design too, so that explains the lack of an actual background and gradients, all that stuff, you name it. Thanks for the suggestions though!

Got any ideas for my next signature? I don't. Maybe I can leave the current one up for a few more months.

I like the top one better.
I thought of picking that one. That includes the same font used by DeviantArt (Calibre, not Calibri) minus the custom treatment it gets (cutting the first and last letters of a word with the diagonal angle of the site's logo).

Looks like the thread is dead at the moment. Time to make it active.

Anything new?

For now I'm sticking with this signature (check above) until I can find something better.
