Last tournament was a tense tournament with many intense rivalries and match-ups making people question whether it was a wi-fi tournament or salt mine. Either way the competition was interesting and in the end there were many crazy matches leading up to a Sonic ditto in Grand Finals. In the end, Raheem The Dream focused his energy from the Inverse Method to snipe 1st place, Meteor came close, but faltered into 2nd place, Saiyuki got owned by lag into 3rd place, and Zane represented LooK earning 4th place. Anyway, welcome to Fight To The Finish #18 where the season is already starting to heat up.

The next day you head to your local game store for picking up the newest game now that you saved up enough money. In the store you see there is a Smash Bros. Wii-U display set up with a couple of people playing on it. Upon further inspection you see your rival is playing some of the other customers and doing fairly well. After the previous customer loses to the rival, you hop on ready to challenge them to another duel. You tell them that nothing can stop him from losing and it won’t be different from last time. Although, you don’t realize that while you took a break they didn’t. Your rival destroys you, like they didn’t just wreck you, but they destroyed you so badly that the game store employee wanted to give you a Smash Bros. Wii-U strategy guide for free. At that moment you realize you’re not ready for facing them or the regional tournament, forget about the new release, and head home ready for some more training.

COUNTERPICKS (For games 2 onward, the winner of the previous game bans two stages from Starters + Counterpicks and the loser picks from the remaining stages):
