It has been over a year and a half since the last Low Tier side event was held in Ontario. Both the Low Tier Singles and Doubles had a phenomenal amount of players considering the total amount of entrants. There where plenty of new players that showed up this tournament, and I got positive feedback from all of them. Stream viewer ship set a new record at 208 viewers! This tournament was loaded with plenty of events and unpredictable results displayed in full detail directly below. Thank you all for showing up to Showdown in Downtown 6 and make sure to get as much practice in as possible, for IMPULSE approaches =]!​

Also, I really feel like I owe you for ****ing up in teams so bad (we definitely HAD both sets that we lost game 3 on), it took until pools to really get my head into the game and shake off that rust

4. Suzaku ($19.5) - Oh man. I was SO scared when I found out that I had to face you. Our first set was soo close.
Even after I won the first set, I was scared that I would lose the 2nd. But I pulled through. VERY intense sets man, beating you was probably my biggest accomplishment at this tourney (either that or taking a game off Ally's Snake). You're very good at dealing with my suitpieces. Good **** on beating Tin. Kinda felt bad that I knocked you out of winners' AND losers', but I guess that's how the cookie crumbles. :\

You definitely seem to be better on SV than on Frigate. I think with some more practice against ZSS you'll do a lot better against me. Good job on 5th, dude. I definitely think you're good enough to get on the PR.

I should probably thank everyone (especially Poke, Looft, and Inle) who's given me serious practice for the Kirby-Marth MU. It's quickly becoming one of my favourite MUs and my streamed match against Tin didn't go as horribly as expected.

TinMan: good to meet you man...I appreciate the work you did to try to seed me properly..shame it went to waste hahaha...it was fun playing against you and Zhao in doubles close matches also...I also find it funny one thing FL TOs have in common as that the events start later than scheduled hahaha...also just out of curiosity...which pool would you have placed me in?

Poke: Thank you for being the first person to step up and saying you'll team with me...without any prior knowledge of who I am or anything...and 7th out of 15 isn't that bad considering we only lost to 2nd and 3rd...and even then those matches could have gone our way...not to mention the whole you know...only getting like a couple matches of teams practice...so overall I'm pretty happy with our performance...try to work on some of your habits...you're a smart player

Zhao: My canadian luigi brother hahaha...close matches in doubles and some fun 0$ money matches...it was fun playing matches and just talking with you...you're an awesome dude...and if I go to impulse...and you're not already teaming with someone...I think we should team up...bring back some mario and luigi action to the world...also to note...you're the first Luigi player to get Up-B kills on me in 3 years

V115: Close games in doubles...sorry I had to bail before our Snake vs ZSS money match...next time we'll find each other and make that a priority

Holy: good game...I was feeling kind of bummed out in the second match after I SD'd at a really low percent...if that didn't happen we could have had a game 3...but I don't know...good games

Everyone Else: You made this tournament a really enjoyable experience for me...I learned a few new things and acquired more wisdom...once again...I'm sorry for leaving before pools...I'm sure whoever was in my pool would have had some fun matches...a lot of you have different habits and play styles than people in Florida and it really made for interesting matches and just new experiences...I thank all of you for making me feel right at home...and this definitely won't be the last time you see me...I'll either see you all at impulse or whenever I can get time off and there is an event I can make it to

Monk, iirc I would have put you in pool 6 or 7 for sure. Just not sure exactly which one since I didn't get it finalized in time.

I also take back everything I ever said about Low tiers. It ended up being more popular than I ever imagined. I did not see 30+ people entering. I think I prefer it over mid tiers. It allows for several different opportunities. Under normal circumstances I probably might not team with Kongmetal (<3 u bro, but u understand), but low tier doubles was an enlightening experience and I'm really glad that I ran it .

Once again, I apologize for being late. The extra hour would have been nice. If I travel with the stream crew again, we're gonna wake up an hour earlier.
