A&C sells water, Coke, Nestea, and Canada Dry for $1

There is a Pizza Pizza nearby, north of the venue at the main intersection of Spadina & Bloor. There's a Lick's not even a minute's walk north of the venue, and if you walk south to Harbord st. there's a couple of independent pizza places (Cora and Papa Ceo) and a B.B. Ques. The intersection with Pizza Pizza also has a tim horton's and a second cup.

Directions:

The venue is just 1 stop south of Spadina subway station. Refer to the map below to find the quickest route for you. Keep in mind this is at A&C World and NOT A&C Games. They are 2 doors apart.

Don't smell, please shower
Tournament matches have priority over friendlies. MMs have priority over friendlies
Keep trash talking casual, no need for us to witness someone getting a punch in the face

IMPORTANT​

[collapse=1.]Ok so after talking to Meekspeedy, he and I have been able to come to a conclusion as to how to go about organizing the side event for Showdown in Downtown 14.

There will be a vote. The vote will be between Low Tiers and Project M. These will be the only 2 options and the poll will close this Saturday at 1pm SHARP (so 72ish hours from now)

Ben, Mark, and I will monitor the vote to prevent people who are not likely to go to the tournament regardless from voting so that the only people that have a say are the people that will likely be affected by the outcome).

As for when the side event will be run, it is planned to start at the same time as doubles. Quite a few setups are not used for doubles, and not everyone enters doubles, therefore it seems like the most feasible time to put the side event. I believe that this is worth trying. If it doesn't work out, then at least we know.

Going to bring a wii and setup to this. also i find it abit BS that a&c is opening at 12, cause i seriously doubt we can finish on time unless we do registration early or do our bracket matches/pools right away. (plus since they complain about our **** il ACTUALLY help with cleaning the venue)

oh Me! I play MK and ROB, generally play defensive and am really good at 2v1s (well, relative to how good I am in singles/2v2s)

small suggestion, even though i'm not going and won't be affected by it:

Instead of unplugging controllers from setups to get things going, unplug all but one controller - this is more effective so that the remaining person plugged in can actually pause and quit the match, and is much less passive aggressive
