Here are some vids of me from Georgia's first smash Wii U tournament. Some of the vids start in the middle of matches.

Winner's Semis vs Scatt's Megaman: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=85gW5CGDqxE&list=UUFJ48g9BcsNm8P7nWsz-97Q
Winner's Finals vs Shano's Toon Link: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aNXQMfj-xkc&list=UUFJ48g9BcsNm8P7nWsz-97Q
Grand Finals vs Scatt's Megaman: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=C1yi7WPPQjY&list=UUFJ48g9BcsNm8P7nWsz-97Q&index=1

Any advice or tips for my Falcon?

Holy crap the first minute of the grand finals. My jaw hurts from that beautiful BEAUTIFUL combo/string :D

You have a very solid Falcon, the only thing that stands out to me is that you keep trying to combo d-throw -> uair at very low percents. Why not f-throw -> dash attack -> uair instead? That's my starter combo and it works most of the time.

I'm a Falcon player that came from PM/Melee into smash 4, so I guess I never really thought to actually try f-throwing people for combos, I'll definitely experiment with it now!

A lot of the time, it seemed like you'd just throw out moves and hope they hit, like D-smashes (which are generally pretty bad) or Nairs. I would advise trying to find all the best uses for all of Falcon's moves so you can know what to mix up, and what to use in what situations and optimize your gameplay. I also noticed you virtually never use Bair, which is one of Falcon's best moves, it's an incredible spacing tool, early combo starter, and kill move. You also tend to not follow up on D-throws, it's a great move that while it won't always lead to combos, it at the very least sets up a powerful frame trap at all but very high percents, and so you don't need to try and make it combo, just force them to airdodge or jump out of it with an U-air, and you'll get tons of followup opportunities from that bnb setup.

While not related to your gameplay that much, every Falcon needs to really master Fox trots, dashdancing, and perfect pivots, Falcon's speed is arguably his best asset, and really being able to have lots of sophisticated movement options should really exacerbate the power of Falcon's speed to incredible heights.

welll you wore a fedora at tipped off 10 so I judge you harshly on your style, buttt your falcon is nasty and you use the right color, I think we need to play some friendlys and bounce ideas off each other.

Something I did notice, and I notice about a lot of falcons is the under use of Dtilt, I think it's the perfect space maker falcon has (next to gentleman). It has that nasty down and away knockback that is really good vs bad players who can't sweetspot and against characters with a very vertical recovery. It also sets up for tech chase scenarios at really early percents which can lead into Dash attack or grabs which will lead into combos.

You are absolutely right about Bair tho, it's really good at everything Uair and Nair aren't good at.

You seem to have an understanding of when to go for the follow ups on Dthrow and when not to, but you still make some questionable decisions that lead into you losing all stage control. I do like when you wait for the air dodge and hit with upsmash.

I do like that you constantly steal the edge forcing your opponent to get back on stage.

I also like your movement, in smash4 very few characters can move the way they want, falcon luckly doesn't have that problem. I think you should incorporate pivot F smash into your spacing/neutral, it super hard punishes laggy moves, especially when you know that they want to do an aerial coming out of gettting combo'd, stuff like Shiek/Link/Sonic/Greninja Dairs, you can accurately out space them and just pick off stocks.

Your Fast fall Upair are on point, I'm assuming they are sooo much easier to do on the cube controller, I think you should toss gentlemans after your whiff'd aerials on shield or otherwise. It'll beat anything OoS that your opponent has including chances to break out of shield grabs (or whatever that weird mechanic were you get grabbed but throw out a hitbox same frame). Pretty much at 1:50 in your game with Toon Link.

All that being said, take my advice with a grain of salt, I haven't played sm4sh WiiU yet, only 3DS but when I get on my WiiU game I want to take falcon to levels of greatness.

since this game my decision making on how to approach and follow ups/safe moves has improved a lot. less fishing for raptor boost and better use of dashing mindgames along with more jab mixups.

Solid looking Falcon there, other than overcomitting a fair bit with moves like knee and raptor boost, you had good spacing and a few reads. Your movement is kinda stiff, but then again pretty much everyone's is right now since it's so early, regardless, keep up the nice work!

I really hate input lag. I could have done so much better but lag ruined this match for me. The only reason I won is because the other player SD'd twice.

This made me laugh pretty hard, I killed sonic @ 39% with a freaking Raptor boost

He was charging an F-smash, his knockback was increased by 20% while doing it, but that's still pretty impressive. Raptor Boost is insane

While my video to show isn't about a combo, it's something I found out while playing Multi Man Smash with custom moves on.

I'll eventually get some of my footage of playing Falcon up once I get a good capture device.

Here is a playlist with videos from Spokane, Washington (Eastern Washington is my region). It was our first official tournament for Smash Wii U.
I managed to win the whole thing, 1st of 45 players!

https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLF0c0-Q1H--aGcrdThh1fNGASmrZXR6zf

Matches include me playing vs Little Mac, Rosalina, Lucario, ROB/Duck Hunt/Falcon, and Yoshi!

Other videos included in the playlist also! Also this was a huge tournament for me because I managed to best players that have always had the upper-hand against me in smash tournaments: Dr. Robotnik and Jamnt0ast.

Also I don't have a copy of the game yet, or even a wii u for that matter, and i don't play 3ds much lol. But I'm LOVING Falcon in this game. <3

I'm really no good at this game, but getting those stomps, punches and knees just never gets old! :D

Also first post on this forum after lurking for more than half a year.

Great video! Simple and to the point. Made me think of something too:

Do you think it would be practical for us Falcon mains to carry a list around showing the percentages of a d-throw -> knee true combos for the entire cast?
If anything, I'd consider it hilarious if Falcon players get famous for going "Oh, you're going to use Marth? Lemme check my list for a sec... 60-65%... okay then, let's go" right before beginning a match.

I don't see why not.
In street fighter, many players have notes for character frame data, punishes, character specific combos and knock down setups all on there phones. Some people even have notes on other players play play style and habits (see: Infiltration).

Edit: Screw you guys, I didn't want my replays critic by a bunch of geeks anyway...

I killed a Dark Pit once and he was at 59%. I was like o_o I think Raptor boost is stronger when it hit's the opponent from behind, and rage effect of course.
