Should 3rd party candidates receive more equality?

As far as the U.S. goes, the party system is insanely rigged. The 3rd party candidates have next to no chance of being elected. I think that should be fixed. What are your thoughts?

Well I mean as it as right now the government doesn't even have any precedents for more than two parties. We have the majority and minority whips in the house, its like nobody even ever thought about it.

Technically speaking there's been dozens of other parties throughout US history such as the Whig party. What makes 3rd party candidates so difficult is the national convention system which almost negates the possibility of non republican /democrat candidates getting elected. Some have gotten major followings over the years, but so long as the money flows into the 2 establishment parties it'll remain that way.
