How do I hit short characters with this move without whiffing

The window is very small, but you have to input fair or bair then immediately press down to fast fall to shoot just before you hit the ground. The pellet also flies at a slight downward angle, so its more forgiving at max range if you don't get it perfect. It takes practice and you're not gonna get it every time but it can be done.

I honestly don't use bair and fair that much against shorties. It won't connect most of the time anyways.

Nair and dair is the way to go vs smaller ppl.

For Fair, you can actually hold down the entire time, SH, wait until you start descending, and then input C-stick Fair. The C-stick input will not only execute Fair but also a fast fall, as long as you are holding down. If all done correctly (and it's quite easy), then Fair's pellet will be as close to the ground as possible.
