Damn, Spirit. I mean, I'm glad she's in, but still. Also, I feel like if we don't see any DLC updates for the current indie fighting games, I have some questions for WayForward lol

Now hold on everyone REMEMBER Mwtwo in Smash 4 started out as trophy TOO before being DLC and the Spirits are essentially this game's replacements for trophies!

Isaac, Geno, and Shantae fans all got kind of screwed this direct.

Isaac is an AT, Shantae is a spirit, and Geno is MIA.

So a summary of the direct:
Viriginben was right
Shadow, Issac, Black Knight and Shantae got deconfirmed
Spirits is super sticker gacha mode
We have a plant as a new fighter
Kirby is the ultimate life form

Screw it, I'm pirating this game. I have no reason to play it outside of seeing ganondorf. I'll stick to 64, Melee, and PM, acutally GOOD smash games. I'm so freaking pissed right now. While walking around in a world is cool, I wanted SSE or fun worlds to explore like Adventure mode. Screw this game, screw this series. Sm4sh is gonna die in a fire like Brawl did becuase people only care about new characters instead of good gameplay with easy entry and I high skill gap that doesn't revolve around Metaknight or Bayonetta.

Wait, where you did see her spirit? You mean to tell me WayForward's months of silence was an NDA for her face on a floating ball?! Well I guess that would've spoiled the Spirits Mode surprise but I wasn't even amazed by that. This bites.

Cool cutscene though.
