Shadow the Hedgehog's Chances Are Getting Really Bleak

I am a Sonic fan so it pains me to say it, but Shadow's chances at brawl are looking bleak and I mean BLEAK. And let me tell you why.

There's been a lot of speculation about a second Sonic character entering the brawl, but nothing confirmed so Shadow still has a shot. But with Silver being just a sticker, it was already looking bad (Silver was only in one game on a nintendo system anyway). If that weren't enough, even if the second Sonic character rumor was true, Shadow would still have to compete with Tails & Blaze (and before you say anything, Blaze has been in both Sonic Rush titles and her storyline would fit very well into the SSE so she has a really good shot).

But the thing that might seal Shadow's fate is actually Sonic's B-down. IT'S ONE OF SHADOW'S ATTACKS!!! Anyone who played Sonic Battle for the GBA would recognise it right away. It's Shadow's "Aerial/Aim Attack" from Sonic Battle. It's called the "Shadow Eagle". They "did not" edit this attack at all for Brawl, it's the exact same attack from Sonic Battle and don't let anyone tell you otherwise.

I know Shadow has a lot of other attacks like Chaos Control and Chaos Spear, but he would still be like a "Luigi" version of Sonic because he'd most likely have the Homing Attack as well as Shadow Eagle if he was in. I didn't get to play Brawl at E for All long enough to see if Sonic had any other moves that aren't really his (If Sonic's mid-air dodge was a backflip, then Shadow's done for), but I do think that Shadow still would be too much like Sonic. As much as I wish Shadow was playable, he'd probably end up as an Assist Trophy.

Nothing about Shadow has been confirmed yet so don't get mad at me, I'm only saying what I know.

1) Shadow NEVER had a chance to begin with

2) Shadow was a HORRIBLE decision by SEGA and is an unoriginal character...

Shadow was only considered cool in one game. And that was his 1st appearence and the time he was supposed to not appear again. I've always wondered if Shadow would have been better off either never returning again or returning after a few years. Instead, because of a big demand apparently. Sega didn't want to mindgame/trick the fans that Shadow wouldn't appear again until a big title, instead they make him return in the next game.

But still, Shadow didn't have much of a chance anyway.

Shadow is all right in my eyes, but Sega won't have a 2nd rep anyway, and even then it wouldn't be Shadow.
And Silver? He's just a sticker, there is no other Sonic rep.

Never had a chance to begin with. That's the beauty of it - this will be THE ONE GAME after SA2 where he doesn't freaking **** a game with Sonic in it.
