As the title says, I need help for like, what emulator to use, what settings to use, how to make it look right, how to set up online matches, what kind of controller to use on my pc, you know, stuff like that, I’ve been wanting to get into smash 64 for a while, so any help is appreciated, thanks in advance.

  3. To host, click go to File, Start Netplay
  4. Go to Master Servers List

  6. Click "Create" next to the "Chat" button
  7. Select a game to create a server/lobby of
  8. Click "Start" when Ready
  9. To join, repeat Steps 3, 4, and 5, then follow Steps 10 and 11
  10. Click on a server/lobby below the chat

Hopefully this helps!

Pizza's version of the emulator is what most people use online. It's basically a modified Project64k with additional plugins that let you play with an original Nintendo 64 controller (using the “Raphnet” adapter).

You can also play with keyboard or other generic USB controller, just open the emulator and go to Options → Configure Controller Plugin to adjust the buttons, and follow Frizz' steps to play online.

Or you can also follow this 5-step guide to setup Smash 64 for netplay.

I can easily speed run Paper Mario 64 glitchlessly in 5,0 hours with 0 Game Overs but a few Resets.
