alright, Wunderwaft , it's all yours

I'll start:

1. What would you say was your most hype Smash reveal?
2. What are your top 3 favorite movies
3. You're are tasked to develop a Waluigi spin-off. What's your pitch?

I'll start:

1. What would you say was your most hype Smash reveal?
2. What are your top 3 favorite movies
3. You're are tasked to develop a Waluigi spin-off. What's your pitch?

1. I'm gonna go with Ridley. It was a mix of "****ing finally" and "they actually did it". Speculating about Ridley was tiring back in Smash 4, so seeing him in an actual playable state was soothing to me. It felt likes years of speculation all accumulated for that moment of vindication.

Besides Ridley there's Mega Man who made me really happy when he initially got revealed, mostly due to the circumstances of his series being on hiatus at the time. There aren't that many long time wanted characters I have left, most of them either got in or are deconfirmed.

Waluigi could take this spot from Ridley when he gets in Smash one day, Waluigi has been my actual most wanted since Brawl and hearing the arguments and vitriol for why he shouldn't get in just makes me irritated when I hear them, probably more so than Ridley's arguments.

Rocky: There isn't really a precise movie I'm picking out of the Rocky franchise but if I have to pick only one then it has to be the first one. Rocky is a movie series that is close to my heart and it inspired me greatly. The Creed sequel movies were emotionally heart wrenching yet epic at the same time. This is a franchise that I'm happy to have seen with my friends.

Blade Runner 2049: This is how you properly do a sequel to an old movie. Creed was bloody amazing but 2049 is on a whole other level. It took the original Blade Runner and continued the story in a way that made me appreciate the old movie even more. It's a fantastic movie and I believe we will never get something like this from Hollywood for a long time. This was a movie made out of passion and not for the purpose of making a hit at the box office, it's a true work of art.

Modern Times: This is probably my favorite classic black and white film. A comedic slapstick movie with criticism on industrialization and capitalism if it goes completely unchecked. It's a farewell to the character of the Tramp and the silent film era. I appreciate this movie for what it is and what it represents.


3. My idea for a Waluigi spin-off game has always been a Yakuza style game where Waluigi is just a lowly thug in a city that is out to get him. There isn't exactly a Nintendo franchise still alive that is centered around a beat em up style of gameplay. I see there being huge potential in a game like this, it's our first look in how the small folk of the Mario universe live and pass their day.

3. If Waluigi had a sports moveset, how would you design it? Like in particular sport he focuses on, etc.

1. I played it but never finished it, I guess I lost interest partway through since I had other games on my backlog back then. And sadly my backlog is still nowhere near finished so I don't think I might ever come back to this game.

2. If you mean who would take his place as my most wanted then that's a bit hard to say. There are the five other characters on my signature, there's also deconfirmed third parties like Resident Evil and not-so deconfirmed third parties like Monster Hunter that I want to see have playable characters. There's also characters like Crash and Ryu Hayabusa that I would love to see. There are also first party characters I really want to see playable like Ashley and Rex. After Waluigi I'm not sure if there's anyone I wanted to see playable for as long as him, when Wario got revealed for Brawl Waluigi found his way as my most wanted character for Smash. I guess I'll say it's currently Kratos, he's my pipe dream pick at the moment.

3. Hmm, I don't want sports to take over all of Waluigi's moveset but I'll give this a shot. For his neutral special I'd give Waluigi Serve Tennis, Waluigi pulls out a projectile from his pocket and hits it with his tennis racket. It's a bit RNG based since the projectile varies from a normal tennis ball to a bob-omb. Kinda like Peach's turnips.

For his side special I will go with Kart. Waluigi drives a kart where he can run over his opponents, it functions similarly to Wario's bike except it's much faster.

For the down special I'll give Waluigi the dice block. If you saw Smash Flash 2's moveset for Waluigi then you'll know what I'm talking about. It's Judge but as a projectile, what's not to love about it?

As for the up special it has to be a corkscrew similair to Wario's, but if we have to add sport references to it then I guess Waluigi could be covered with the thorny vines from Mario Strikers.
