Searching for old posts prior to the forum change

It's impossible to search for old posts that were before the forum change using the search, is there any decent method? Google can only find a few posts here and there, but I'm trying to find one I made in a 2,000 page thread half a year ago

Also what happened to the yellow dice Icon I use to have that said "gambler" when I hovered over it
