Well it seems like it's the same situation with Ganon.. so what I do? Linguini is not traveling anymore and I'm not sure what's going on with Rockcrock, so I'm the only one left! However you guys still have S2J and Hax! But I do secondary Falcon but I suck with him apparently.. I didn't do so well when I picked him in tourney last saturday.. Actually I'm not even sure where I stand anymore. =(

Meh, playing Fox full throttle has always been more fun for me, but the times (just one time?) where I can achieve that pace are limited to like ... the 6 friendlies with Boss where I 3 stocked his Mario back to back to back

And then proceeded to get whooped by his Doc in tournament

I also like kneeing people so I'll always play Falcon regardless of who my main but ... meh. Fox is fun ~_~

At the moment Falcon is more fun on average because I'm more consistent with him but Fox has a higher peak
Something like that I guess <_<

MDVA used to be Super Luigi Bros Melee <_<
We had 2 active Luigis which outnumbered our notable Falco mains >_>
Winston retired Luigi though so now we only have Vist
And maybe some of our lesser Falcos are getting better

I like Johnny's crazy dash dance tech chase method, it seems to punish tech in place a lot more than traditional tech chase movement like just dash forward, or WD forward (SS style).

From what I can tell it can do two things:

1). It spaces around shines naturally, or

2). You can do it in a way so that it "synchronizes" your reaction window with dashing towards them, so it just helps you react rather than a tangible benefit.

1 can be avoided with just better reaction. I think usually if I get super warmed up I can get the in place tech via pure reaction like 80-90%. If 2 helps you though more power to you. I think that's just up to individual preference. It reminds me of Tai's techchasing with Marth - he often wavedashes in place while techchasing just to help his timing, and while it doesn't gain him anything on paper he seems really consistent with that method.

What works best for me seems to be clearing my mind of all thoughts and watching, but subconsciously keeping "tech in place" as my default expectation.

I won't even bother arguing about whether this is actually true and just say that it's irrelevant and that the point is that Smashboards is not the place to share your pictures of naked women. There are times to fight against the rules, but the recent trends in this thread are so unacceptable and immature that it's quite mind-boggling to me.
