I personally believe more people should use the lessons that are found in animes, it's so good for whatever you want to do. Not just be freaking nerds and saying: Zomg that anime is so good, period. lol.

Eva is one of the single most amazing Anime's ever. Definitely a life changer.
As long as you can get through the first 6 episodes, things get much better.
After watching a bit of GL, I realized it's on the opposite end of the spectrum from NGE XD

Like the importance of closeness, friends, and the ability to move on when you have nothing left.
One of my favorite fun-poking quotes is
"We're all in this together, POWER ACTIVATE!"
Referring to the strange ability for anime characters to unlock their true power only after understanding that they're not fighting alone and can rely on other people.

Haha, so good. It's kinda like in smash I know I play smash because I love it a lot.. but now I also play smash because I have enormous support from a lot of people and there's no way in hell I can show any weakness when so many people know me, you know? You HAVE to be strong. =P
Oh and I have a small variant.. Knee -> upthrow -> gentleman -> dropzone knee.

That's totally possible because you might see things in a different perspective or you let your experience settle from within but still congrats on the win. =D (I'm starting to get scared a little bit now... =P)
Ya Berserk is the ****, it's definitely in my Top 3 animes with Gurenn Lagann. My other one would be.. Hajime no Ippo.
There's no way to be more warrior than Guts.. like.. no way in hell lol.

Yeah my friend watched it because one of HIS friends told him it was weird.
I don't usually watch stuff like that.
I only watch stuff if it's important and has a message. Naruto and Bleach suck imo, since there's no real point to the series.
The reason I like NGE so much is because it's full of symbolism and stuff. Lots of messages, but overt and subtle. There's tons of information, and the characters are really flawed and human.
Naruto really has no storyline.
And then there's One Piece.
Oh god.

anime only shows the best part of the manga (flashback/golden age)
and also leaves a lot of stuff out

Ya I kinda hope they end naruto soon, if not.. it's gonna be real stupid. I'm reading the mangas atm.
Oh ya Hunter X Hunter is really cool.. the characters are amazing. Also well, Naruto and Bleach had their moments but at some point it's just dragging it too long.

Ya Kenshin is really good, I liked the OVA too it was badass. Amakakeru ryu no Hirameki! The ultimate attack! Dbz obv a classic. =P

Claymore's okay, the art's both good and bad. It's fairly interesting actually. The storyline's okay though.

Watch Dragonball Kai.. so much better than DBZ. Episode what.. 95. And cell is dead. Even Frieza saga was x10 better because of it.

Wow. WOW. No story? Okay. I thoroughly disagree with that. Battle Angel Alita had more story than One Piece and Hunter x Hunter combined.
I guess you could say that about the "Last Order" arc that's in print now (I think Yukito Kishiro's time with cancer warped the creative process a bit) but the previous Battle Angel Alita series had a decent story with good character development (Alita being the only one who ever undergoes any kind of real change sadly). Lots of philosophical and literary references, too (which actually make sense in the context of the story if you're well-read). Especially when it comes to fighting and martial arts.
I'm speaking strictly of the manga, btw. If there's a new OVA or something like that I haven't seen it yet.
And Code Geass is the most hilarious parallel to the American Revolution ever.
