Sand blowing in Mario's past stage

Is it possible to remove the blowing sand in the background of stgmariopast_00? I'm guessing it has something to do with palettes.

I'm actually interested if we're to the point where we could perhaps port it to another stage, under a different color, maybe. I think I'm going to check if it is similar to the snow effect in Shadow Moses.

I think you could try that on FD first, replacing one of the four files in the pac

Hmm....maybe I'll check it out. I'm going to do some messing around with stage pacs sometime within the week anyways, so what's one more thing to mess with?
