Hey everyone!

November is coming up soon, so it's time for the monthly rotating-game vote!

== What is this for in the first place? ==

We only have time for 3 brackets at SSF each week, but with @Guilty Gear Strive [PS4] ( @Guilty Gear Strive [PC] ) and @Smash Ultimate locked into the schedule we still have time for one more!

To figure out which game, we hold a vote each month and run the Top 2 games!
The winning games will be ran on alternating weeks (So the 1st week would be Strive, SSBU and one of the games - followed by Strive, SSBU, and the 2nd game the week after)

== How does the vote work? ==

We're using a weighted vote system - everyone is able to vote for up to 5 games they'd like to see at SSF, and every vote gives that game a certain number of points (higher-ranked or ""closer to 1st choice"" games get more points per vote)

Also if you have any feedback for us in general this would be a great way to let us know!

This week we're going to be running the first of something that will hopefully become standard going forward - pre-SSF exhibition matches!

While we can't really fit any additional games into our tournament schedule, we're hoping that we can still highlight other great games (and maybe show off why you should vote for them each month? ) while filling the morning Check-In time

=== February 2023 Rotating Game Voting, Showmatch Nomination, & Feedback Form ===
Hey everyone!

February is coming up quick, so it's time for the monthly rotating-game vote!

== What is this for in the first place? ==

We only have time for 3 brackets at SSF each week, but with @Guilty Gear Strive and @Smash Ultimate locked into the schedule we still have time for one more!

To figure out which game, we hold a vote each month and run the Top 2 games!
The winning games will be ran on alternating weeks (So the 1st week would be Strive, SSBU and one of the games - followed by Strive, SSBU, and the 2nd game the week after)

Note: If we don't end up having 4 events in a month things will change slightly, but the 1st place game will get priority

== How does the vote work? ==

We're using a weighted vote system - everyone is able to vote for up to 5 games they'd like to see at SSF, and every vote gives that game a certain number of points (higher-ranked or "closer to 1st choice" games get more points per vote)

== Also, we're opening up signups for the the pre-SSF Showmatches! ==

We're running Showmatches at the start of SSF now as a way to highlight games that we don't have time to fit into our schedule (...and maybe show people why they should vote for them in the rotation!)
If you have a game you'd like to showcase, please let us know on the form and we'll work with you to get something figured out!
(Also, if you have an opponent in mind already that would make things much easier for us lol)

[Saturday | 1/28] No SSF This Week

Instead of running SSF this week, we'll be heading up to Portland to see what this Battle Break thing is all about!

Hosted by Chapter XLVII, it's a "Structured Labbing Local" up in Portland this weekend for Tekken 7, SoulCalibur VI, Guilty Gear Strive (ran by us), and Melty Blood: Type Lumina (ran by Uno)!

"If you're new to the BATTLE BREAK format, it is a structured labbing event with a locals vibe. We sometimes do 3GG brackets for fun, but it is not streamed and low key. Sometimes we have out of state guests too!"

It's at "The Core" in Portland, and it's free to enter - come see what's up with us if you're interested!
