Greetings fellow smash brethren! It's been a long time since I've posted anything on this forum; as you can see from my join date,I'm somewhat of a smash relic. I want to share my passion with you guys, as my work is all Smash Bros. or Nintendo related. I'm a sculptor and photographer, and I make figurines mainly. I originally started working on the Smash Bros. series only a few months before the Amiibo line was announced, which was pretty upsetting for me at the time. Now that they are here, I'm ok with them, because even though it was the exact same idea I had, they are still quite different. For starters, mine are much larger, and therefore more detailed. Also learning about Amiibo freed me up in the creativity department. Instead of doing all the same SSB icon trophy bases, each character will have their own unique base or diorama and I've decided to do more dynamic poses. I don't have examples of those yet, but I want to do characters at some of their most iconic Smash moments (like a special move or taunt, or incorporate things such as Peach's stitch face turnip). The first few pieces I've done are pretty basic poses.

The first piece I'm going to share with you is Fox. For right now, I'm just going to post a teaser/preview picture, as I'm currently finishing up editing the rest of the photos, which if you follow my instagram or twitter, you know I'm extremely behind on.

I'll reserve the next spot to post the rest of the pictures.

alrighty I finished editing last night so here's the rest of them.

He stands 7 inches tall from base to the top of his gun. He is made of a hard polyurethane resin. When I get around to making another one at some point, I'm going to change the base a little bit. I originally off-centered it so his symbol could be seen but I think I can center it more and still have the symbol show. The only other thing that should change is his eyeshield, it's supposed to be transparent. So yeah, here you have it, countless hours of work into this. I would love some feedback and suggestions for other Smash related projects.
