We at S@PS in partnership with Extra Life are proud to bring you a 24hr gaming marathon to raise money for Penn State Hershey's Children's Hospital. This event will include smash as well as any other games that people decide to bring and play. Everyone is invited so tell your friends!
Location: Waring Commons West Study Lounge (May Change if We Find a Bigger Room).
Marathon Time: November 7th 9AM to November 8th 9AM
S@PS Time (Smash Brothers Tournaments): 2PM-12AM
This doesn't mean that the event is restricted to smash during this time frame, it only means this is when we plan to run our weekly tournaments. Everyone is free to do whatever they like during this time provided it is legal and we have enough space to accommodate it. Please, bring your favorite games and consoles to play during the marathon!
BOARD GAMES ARE WELCOME TOO!
Prices: $5 Entry Fee to Marathon. All Proceeds Will Go Straight To Extra Life.
If you decide to enter our weekly smash brothers tournaments while there, there will be a $5 entry fee for the tournament as well.
We will also be accepting scheduled grudge matches in any game, with the loser donating to Extra Life. The matches will be streamed and all you need to do is leave a comment on the event page with both of your names, tell me what game, and how much you'll be playing for. Both parties must comment with approval so that someone doesn't get roped into something they don't want to do.
There will also be raffles, prizes, and special events so keep an eye on this event page for updates.
Our Donation Goal on Extra Life is set at $300, but I believe we can easily crush that goal. Let's take our gaming habits and use it for something great!
