Oh, I've been meaning to say this for a while:

Please, someone play some serious friendlies with a variety of opponents on PTAD. While theorycraft may make the stage not seem that bad, I'm still quite worried about what happens in reality, and unfortunately I'm unable to play people atm. Play someone and record the games if you can, and if not then just remember your experiences. Please put my fears to rest, or realize them with proof and experiences so others can understand that there is a problem.

I could try to get some videos on Port Town recorded, but it's definitely not that bad for us. If you'd rather, we could play some wifi friendlies on it and I could help you on it and show you what you're doing wrong.

If you're going to OUGA next weekend you'll definitely want to brush up on your janky stages XD

What's the date again? I may have something coming up...or I may not...stuff's weird now, due to what I told u guys about earlier in the Xat. I definitely still want to know dates - I'm there if I can be :D

Japes is fun :D And Pictochat is SOOOOOO MUCH FUN! Probably my favorite CP to play on ^_^

I've been having thoughts lately about counterpick stages however, so I'm not entirely sure how I feel about these two any more.

@Composer: Yes, it's a great stage from Oli from what I hear, but character bias aside I'm beginning to doubt it's place in a competitive scene. I haven't decided yet, I'm still thinking about a lot of things so I can't say my opinion for sure yet

edit: Wow, Brood playing Snake is like our matchup thread incarnate :laugh: One thing I'm starting to notice about his play though: I rarely see him try to latch more than one pikmin onto an opponent. You guys have probably already been doing this, but I gotta start so all my pikmin don't die :chuckle:

edit2: Wow again, he even rearranges his line in the middle of stocks. I gotta start takin notes...

Looks like they aren't all up yet because one video from the Brood v. M2K set is missing. Ah, I'll just update the video thread tomorrow.

Man, I'm watching Brood play Ally and he's just so calm and calculated about EVERYTHING. Like, he isn't even afraid to ride a platform right over Snake, powershield a Utilt, drop down and Fair him. His head is just so clear...

yes u just press A near it. and if someone throws an item (nade, bannana, peanut) while ur in the air u can catch it with Z and throw it back laglessly. Diddys do it alot

In theory craft it would be bad for us since there is no ledges, we would have to take damage when recovering to the stage and possibly die. Now taking damage is better than a guaranteed death on other sages yes, and the main platform does seem long enough, that being said, I haven't actually played on it myself. I would take Olimar there with my ROB if it were available in tourney and it wasn't banned.

I don't like this stage from what I've played on it. I'd prefer to use ROB on it and conceptually its really good for Pikachu (whom Im working on right now)

And yeah Vocal, grabbing a nade is pretty basic...
