Didn't he lose to kadaj?

Also tin man no problem canada is great make good toppings for my pizza
Is Kadaj another ROB player? And did he just face him in pools?

Hm. Maybe he does have a ROB weakness. Fino DID mention that he wasn't camping Chibo that hard, maybe it's not generally how he plays things and ROB doesn't fall into his ordinary traps...

Then again, maybe he was just sandbagging. It's hard to tell, simply because it'd be hard to believe that such an amazing player would have such a weakness to ROB, of all characters.

Brood clearly sandbagged pools if he lost to chibo.
Btw +1 to the 'i use olimar now' bandwagon. :D

No offense, but I'm willing to bet it's less than a month, two tops, before that +1 disappears :p Playing Olimar is an entirely different beast than any other character in the game for many reasons, the top two being

A) You must always adjust your playstyle to your line (managing it is very important)
B) It takes a long time to learn to recover properly with Olimar

@Turaz: Why are you on M2K's side? He three stocks a lot of people, and this was their first time ever playing each other. And that's interesting that he lost to Kadaj, I wonder if those matches got recorded...

I do not understand how no one else thinks that Brood only chose to lose to Chibo ;-;

Am I really the only one?
Was that in pools? If so then that's a possibility.

That being said, it could be that he didn't know the MU. I mean you see how few ROB mains there are in the US, so IDK, maybe they don't have any in Japan?

Terrible logic, kind of makes me think you want to support him since he plays Melee, and it's obvious to anyone with eyes that you like Melee more ^_^ I will admit that I question whether or not the strain of two simultaneous tournaments affected his performance, but I will not say that him 3-stocking Brood means anything significant.

@From: yea, it was pools

Olimar bros, I heard Brood schooled all you guys? I haven't been keeping up with brawl really, but it warms my heart to see an Olimar beating M2K. (Also, m2k timing out brood on RC? weak ****ing sauce)

Also, I think the strain playing brawl and melee puts on m2k is overstated. With that said, melee4lyfe roflmao jk <3

yeah brood beat olimar, which beat m2k.

It was last hit pretty much. Most intense thing ever.

Iknoright? Talk about your season ender - Brood came in and took a sledgehammer to the American Olimar metagame

It makes us look bad right now, but it's great for us in the long run - we'll be on that buffer status in no time :p

Season six is gonna be FUUUUUUUUUUNNNNNNNNNNNNN ^_^ I'm so excited!! gah

It hasn't been posted anywhere yet. AFAIK, none of the official replays have been recorded or uploaded yet, though there are a few independently recorded games floating around (I know I saw Game One of M2K v. Brood on here already).

The M2k brood set has fully been posted. And if an olimar social group is made, I'd be happy to contribute to it.

Buffering is not something that I have been doing since I played Peach.

Espy showed me what and how to buffer when I started playing.

Now that I think about it, almost all of San Antonio uses buffering.

I really want to see the BROOD's set against M2K. I have no idea how to deal with MK as Olimar.

I'd like to also see all BROOD's recorded matches so I can check out this new Olimar metagame.

In the jawn, with the jawn.
Yeah i'm late but I just HAD to do this because you guyas were dissing this man SO hard.

so that means richbrown, AN OLIMAR, does better against larry than japan's best player (IIRC richbrown actually takes off matches) , japan is ****ing trash and their best players are cocky but can't bite as big as their roar
lol no.

if you seem him play, you will realize easily that even with the flashy stuff that makes oli fast (which is not great for oli considering he is built on a fortress like defense and the buffering is mostly fluff) you would realize his mindset and style sets him under the top top olis of the nation

he seems to be only fifth best oli nationwide, under me/rich, greward (trust me, his olimar is really good), and logic

lol.

\LOGIC, SHOW THOSE PEOPLE WHO THE BEST OLIMAR REALLY IS!
Brood.

Edit: Well didn't make it out of 2nd round pools, but I made about 75$ in MM's this weekend. so yay.

Just came back from a year on the farm to see the board flooded with Brood hype.
This place changes so fast.
(BTW. +1 <3 to whoever recommended Harvest Moon when I asked for Wii recommendations. ^_^)

Does this mean that everyone is going to switch to Olimar?

I hope no one hops on to Olimar...
I know what you mean and people are making a big mistake in doing so just because we see TOP TOP level players lose to one. People are overhyping Olimar for that, and it takes a lot of work to do what Brood did to a 40:60 matchup. [I'm just lurking by the way, no way in h*** am I picking up Olimar.]

Beef you're my favorite Dedede X:

But yeah, people are most likely going to start trying out Olimar more now, but quitting half way like most people do. Especially people that try to pick him up as a secondary. People that pick up Olimar because they like what he's capable of don't last nearly as long or do nearly as well as those that pick him up because they like his play style.

I agree Hilt, there were two people in SA already calling switching their mains from watching the live stream.

You can just tell when someone is playing him just because and playing him because they like what he does.

He is not a Meta Knight character.

I said it because you know, he's pointing and the Pikmin are there looking...

never mind. Joke overlooked.

@Sky Pirate, I do not know if they were trolling me or not though.
