Lol I KNOW you know this, you just aren't thinking about it right ^_^ EVERYONE in Brawl can buffer actions in the 10 ending frames of a previous action. For example, you can air dodge into the ground and input shield+down during the last 10 frames of the air dodge to buffer a spot dodge. An Oli relevant example is Dthrow>Usmash - you buffer the Usmash. Brood just does this in many more situations

Ok, they're doing an interview on the Brawl stream with Brood and Rain. Brood basically just said something along the lines of this:

"I buffer all of my attacks and so mine come out much quicker than those of American Olimars. American Olimars need to get faster and level up"

So yea, he buffers. Also, he finds our country's Olimars inferior when it comes to technical skill.

He does have a point that we don't have a habit of buffering things :/

Not to change the topic, but epic Falco ditto Pool match on the stream: Larry v. Rain

edit: Update guys. Larry won 2-0. The first match was somewhat close (Larry was a mid-percents when he got the win) but the second one was a shutout. He got TWO 0-death chain grabs on Rain within 45 seconds, and then a third one immediately after that but Rain SDIed it onto the stage. But that didn't really matter when 15 seconds later he Illusioned off the stage and fell to his death - 3 STOCKED

Whoa man, calm down a bit, no need to diss Rain like that. First off, it's a ditto, and regardless of who you play that a totally different beast than playing against different characters. I was surprised he nearly got chaingrab 3-stocked though; it was FD, but that's not much of an excuse. He's still an amazing Falco and probably better than a lot of American Falcos (I still think Larry is better).

IDK why everyone looks to Japanese players like if they lose a game they're terrible. If our most famous players (Ally, ADHD, Larry, whoever) went to Japan, I'm sure they'd lose some games as well - that wouldn't make them bad players. Maybe everyone just over-hyped them to an impossible to reach level and diss them for not matching it.

Oh wait, they're the ones that hyped themselves up so much?

This changes my opinion greatly. I thought it was just America hyping them up so much, but they really believed they were miles ahead of our best? How dare they be so cocky and self-assured. They are good players, yes, and could be placed alongside the best of our nation (maybe not the VERY top of the nation), but for them to act like they can beat every one of America's best Brawlers is so far into douche-bag territory that I don't even know what to think of them anymore.

And yea, he may do a few things differently stylewise, but I think Brood's ego is just a little too large for the reality of things.

edit: And where is Clove for all of this Apex excitement? He's missing everything, and I'm beginning to miss him, and not just because he's holding up Newbie Mafia :/

if you seem him play, you will realize easily that even with the flashy stuff that makes oli fast (which is not great for oli considering he is built on a fortress like defense and the buffering is mostly fluff) you would realize his mindset and style sets him under the top top olis of the nation

he seems to be only fifth best oli nationwide, under me/rich, greward (trust me, his olimar is really good), and logic

Even if he is only fifth best, he's still quite good. Hell, that's definitely better than I'll be anytime soon I think everyone else's meat-riding is making it hard to just acknowledge that even if he ISN'T better than our Olimars, he's still a good player nonetheless. Same goes for Rain; even if he isn't better than Larry, he's still a great player. Idk why we have to hate them for not being the best

secondly: the way he buffers is very easy to manipulate into our game...BUT...there is another aspect about what the buffer does that we haven't known that truly makes olimar infinitely more threatening

just play around with buffering every landing into an attack, i would say but i also want to see other results olimar's get so we get some variety in the findings instead of the focus being on one result i found, you might be able to figure it out anyway

AND I FIGURED AS MUCH ABOUT BROOD NOT CAMPING WELL!! I was thinking it was just a doubles habit, but when I saw him play he threw VERY few pikmin, only purples if I recall. Good **** showing him who's the master of the ditto!!! His lack of camping ability also probably explains why he lost to Chibo. Screw what anyone says about Brood; American Olimars adapt to the matchup and THAT'S what makes a good Olimar

okay, im tired of metaknight. he keeps stealing first place at tourneys here in Texas D: He stole my first place today! I'm think of new effective mind games against MK. I already have one, please tell me your effective mind games.

Nice idea btw; I haven't tried out shield the dsmash>SH dair yet so now I have two things to play with the next time I get a chance

And EVERYONE is tired of Metaknight. Who cares if he's beatable; it's so gosh darn difficult that players that would otherwise be considered good get eliminated from tournaments before they get a chance to show their stuff. At the end of the day, the majority of the time, the game just comes down to beating Metaknight. Even if you have a counter (like ours is Luigi [except for Logic]), it won't matter unless your counter can beat Metaknight.

Amazing players can rise to beat him (sometimes), but no one can argue that he's not the focal point of the game.

I was about to say I'd probably cry in happiness if someone besides M2K wins Apex (I probably would) but it just makes me think of all the people he would have eliminated on his way to finals...
