Welcome, Brawl fans. In this series of 4 themed tournaments, you will only be able to use characters from a specific row in the Brawl Roster. For those not in the know, the full character roster in Brawl looks like this:

For this, the first round of the Row Tournaments, you can only use characters in the first row. They are as follows:
You may use as many as you wish, but use of charactes outside of the row will result in disqualification.
This is a single elimination tournament.
The General Ruleset is as follows:
-3 Stock
-7 Minute Timer (because 7 ate... 8.)
-Items are set to "Off" and "None"
-Sets are to be played best of 3 matches, with the exception of the finals match, which will be played best of 5.
-In the event of a time out, the winner will be decided by stock, then by percentage.
-Stalling is banned.
Character Specific Rules
-Meta Knight's Infinite Cape Glitch is banned.
-Chaingrabs must end immediately after 200%.
-If the game ends in a Kirbycide and it goes to Sudden Death, the win goes to Kirby.
Stage Selection
-No player may pick a stage on which they previously won in the same set unless agreed up on by both players.
-Each player may strike one stage from both the Neutral and Counterpick lists.
-The Counterpick stages will be changed each round along with the characters.
