You're missing the point. Plank would have made the experience unenjoyable for too many people. There is no reason that other people should have to suffer for the good of one person.

I don't see how his being there affects anyone. If you don't think he should be allowed to attend that is one thing, but you're straight up psychotic if you can't enjoy the tournament just because someone you didn't like was there.
