yeah, a lot of it was due to other people needing to go back
even myself at times.
ill figure something out.
I should have about 3 tournaments in april tho, and I will have spring break to get back into practicing. this semester has killed me lol

well, i jsut got back from germany...can anyone say death pool?

i played fairly good, but i fell for stuff i really shouldnt have, and i got stuck in pools

not much to say really, other than how can i compensate for my inability to wavebounce?

cant be bothered to type much more, swollen joints from too much playing XD

The only suggestion I can make if you're actually unable to wavebounce, is to B-stick.

If not that, then I'm not sure. Sadly, wavebouncing is necessary for ROB at this point in the metagame, if you ever want to make it back down to the stage.

haven't seen kprime play much rly, i also don't know his results either
pikapika got into pound bracket, and won a set or two
he just reaaaaally sucks vs mk lol, my mk does about as good as my rob vs him

our latest set is on youtube if anyone wants to offer a tip or two

I saw a couple of fundamental errors like not SDI'ing out of [EDIT: upsmash] down smash which should be embedded into your robotic soul.
seemed like most of his kills dealt with upsmash/utilting so i would maybe try working on, when at kill % at least, staying out of his inside range and resorting to tilts, retreating fairs, etc.

looking at the thumbnails
why lylat

SDI'ing out of usmash what?

as for lylat, if you can push him under the stage (pretty much one fair is all it takes) it either kills pika or puts him at an AWFUL position. the low platforms on the side also help reduce some of his options for edguarding me/coming back from the ledge. i normally pick picto but it wasnt legal at the tourney

tilts dont work well, he can just jump back and tshock over n over

yea i saw u having a lot of trouble with the tshocks. i dont have much pika xp so Idk what I would recommend, I guess just PS them and advance slow and steady...try and corner pikachu against the sides of the stage or some **** so he has to go offstage if he wants to keep it up which is good for u =]

i noticed my "upsmash" error lol

if you convince yourself that tilts wont work, then they wont work.

something else i found fun to do against the one set I had against a good pikachu, esam, was reverse grounded up-bing to swing over his tshocks and smack him up

il still try em, but against a REALLY spammy pikachu like ppika they wont work really. more aggressive pikas like esam it will

and i cant do ur lil freicken upB reverse tricks or w/e so that's out of the question lol

not to mention that only works on fd or picto
and hey when ur at a picto banned tourney and he bans fd :/

Grounded reverse-upB isn't so hard, I do it all the time but... Wi-Fi screws my R.O.B. LoL. But Sweden's first real Brawl tournament is having a date!! It's during Dreamhack and if plenty of people are interested (who I think they are) then there will be a Brawl tournament! =)

I want to see how far I can go with only R.O.B..

and pikachu beats rob, idk how thats a bad loss lol
shiiii, w/e
keep thinkin like that and you wont beat him.
a friend of mine told me to play every match as hard as I would against m2k, but to treat them as if they are a 5 yr old scrub lol.

i hope im recalling this right
if that makes any sense.

Sudai and taken out of context with minor annotations added said:
[I just want you guys to know] that [Fishy is a pretty cool guy]
All the cool kids do the grounded RETREATING up-B (run right, up B so that you're moving to the left while still facing right the entire time) for mindgames as well as short hop (wavebounced) gyro cancel leading to anything.

Also, hi.
Also also, SWF was being unfriendly and showing me a page with just the privacy policy instead of letting me through to the actual site until I logged in. I skipped the home page refusing to log in but then I did anyway just so I could post this. /hope

sushi man is a really smart mk main that barely ever goes to tourneys. he has beaten kadaj most of the time in the past, but more recently kadaj is beating him so hes prolly the best in nc now
