I've found that if you do a rising whatever and tap up after you reach the peak of the jump arch, you'll do a little pause before starting your descent, meaning in some situations you'll be able to sweet spot some falling aereals better. Or just delay your descent to throw the opponent off. Both of which are useful. The latter more so when you're recovering and the opponent wants to grab or do a grounded move. or if you're going high and they're right at the correct range.

As usual, nothing major or game changing, but it's worth noting at least :)

Hmm I wonder why this is? rising aerials are supposed to work as if ness didn't have djc so that's pretty interesting that they have this physics nuance in it.

There's also the option to gain a little more hight by holding up to begin with. As compared to no directional inputs.

Don't know how useful this is unless you're **** sure that the opponent is going after you and will miss because of that slight increase in hight.
