RIP update PLZ

I think that Sakurai should just update with a RIP update and have the Melee characters that aren't returning officially announced, I mean when has knowing something for sure stopped him from not updating the site (i.e. swimming, and Sonic and Zamus's Final Smashes), I would like to know who isn't returning from Melee than a new character update, that way one of the most specualted things and stop being speculated... what do you think.

(RIP... maybe... Young Link, Dr.Mario, and Pichu)

P.S. That's if any Melee characters aren't returning.

Sakurai is too cruel to do that. He will just let you find out the hard way that none of your favorite characters from previous Smash games are returning. With him, character deconfirmations are a dish best served cold.

It doesn't seem like Sakurai would make an update like that. Though hopefully he'd turn melee characters who aren't returning into Assist Trophies as some sort of memorial to them.

Pichu will be in a Pokeball and all other characters that will not return will be Assist Trophies. That's just me...
