If they want to put more Kirby characters than Dedede and Metaknight, then Rick is at the top of that list (tied with Gooey, though Rick is more functional).

It's okay, it's pretty understandable. I'm hoping at least for him to be an Assist Trophy.I LOVE Rick the Hamster!
The reason I played my first Kirby game (Kirby's Dreamland II) was because of him!
I don't really see him being a character, though. Honestly, I really like him. I just can't see it happening.

He's a popular character in the Kirby series, and I, for one, would love to see him in Brawl (next to King Dedede, that is). After all, you can't have too many Kirby characters!
..Well, actually, you can't, but the guy behind SSB also created Kirby, so it goes together, right?
Rick rocks! Who's with me?
I woudl rather see more 3rd party people than a walking hampster. That or we have ridley instead of him. and i hate ridley. I like the idea, i just hate the guy. Maybe he can be a Assist trophy.I know DK was big way back when, but Kirby is definitely bigger than DK now. And Metroid? Kirby's always been much, much bigger.

Don't get me wrong I always liked Kirby and I still play the GBA and DS games of Kirby. But I wouldn't say Kirby has always been bigger than DK and Metriod. Espeaically Metriod. I mean if Kirby was so much bigger than Metriod than why is Kirby only on handheld games and Metriod on heldheld and has 3 really big console games. (Metriod Prime Series)
Plus as a game I can pretty much gurantee that if you looked at all the Metriod reviews vs. all Kirby reviews in magazines etc. that the Metriod series will have scored way better than Kirby making it a more better and more popular series today. Maybe back then it was different. But today Metriod is in Nintendo's big 3 right along with the other 2 most popualr series today which are also the Zelda series and of course the Mario Series

HAHA you know what's funny I was going to add that in my comment but I didn't think no1 would bring up Pok'e Mon but guess I was wrong. But yes f***ing Pok'e Mon has sold more than Metriod and it may be more popular than Metriod(happy?)Metroid is more popular than Pokemon?Do I think it's better than Metriod? Hell no. But my comment was only meant to be about only Metriod and Kirby.(That's it.)
*ahem*I know DK was big way back when, but Kirby is definitely bigger than DK now. And Metroid? Kirby's always been much, much bigger.[/QUOTE]

Kirby: Canvas Curse - >700,000
Kirby: Squeak Squad - > 1.3 million
Kirby Air Ride - >1.5 million
Kirby and the Amazing Mirror - >1.7 million
Kirby: Nightmare in Dream Land - >1.8 million
7 million.
That's a total of >7 million in two generations. Metroid?
Metroid Prime - >2 million
Metroid Fusion - >1.5 million
Metroid Prime: Echoes - >1 million
Metroid Prime 3: Corruption - >500,000
Metroid: Zero Mission - >700,000
Metroid Prime: Hunters - >700,000
Metroid Prime Pinball - >150,000
6.55 million.
It took Kirby only five games to sell that many copies, and it took Metroid seven to sell less than that.
Every single platform game ever made in the Kirby series has sold more than 1 million copies. Several of the spin-offs, such as Pinball Land and Block Ball, have sold 1 million as well.
The Kirby series five years ago had broken 20 million copies. So at this rate, it's almost at 30 million.
Metroid, however, has not broken 20 million to date.
And am I to understand that there's something wrong with being primarily on handhelds? The fact that the DS is the fastest selling video game console in the history of ever shows that being only on consoles would be worse for Kirby.
Well $hit I gotta say I'm impressed with your research and I'm suprised to see that Kirby outsold such a juggernaut series like Mertiod. I thought Metriod would of won that but okay well I guess I'm wrong about that. Thanks for that*ahem*

7.1 million.
