Returning stages

Ok i know that there is already a stage discussion thread, but i think its necessary to make one that is only returning stages.

I think that there should be returning stages from all three games, so i think their will be 3 n64 stages, 8 melee stages, and 12 brawl stages.

What stages would you like to see return?

Brawl

Pirate Ship was pretty hype.
Also the Glacier. (Or was it called Summit?)
And Distant Planet.

I really liked those stages because there was alot of interaction with the stage and the background. Pirate Ship and Glacier were like a neverending adventure.

Melee

Hyrule Temple

Or a stage of equivalent bigness. It's just big and fun to play on. Also the entire stage is part of the background. If new Pork was more connected with the action in the back, instead of just a buncha floating platforms, it coulda been alot cooler to fight on.

Fourside was another favorite of mine. All the earthbound stages have cool designs. But fighting on top of skyscrapers and UFO's just had a feel good vibe to it.

Oh and the Game&Watch stage. Not that I mind them updating it into G&W Stage 3.

I really just dig the music on this stage.

i dont care about what levels there are there except if the level completely pwns you, like pirate ship....over half my deaths...

were from the level....

the bow of the ship....

the catapult....

and most of all.....that blasted bomb tower...

yuou have no idea how much i hate it...

noope...not even close. but i would like to see hyrule and maybe the n64 yoshi level. also the starfox world from melee would be great to have back

I really hope we get 64/Melee stages this time around (I'd take any of my 64/Melee stages over almost any of the Brawl ones), the lack of 64 stages in Brawl really disappointed me. I also wonder if the past stages will be picked based on series (like in Brawl) or seemingly random (like Melee).

I originally put Sector Z and Onett on the list, but I'd rather have an accurate version of Onett in smash 4 then the Melee one. I chose Sector Z instead of Corneria because imo the size of the Great Fox ship's size in Sector Z was so much better (best large stage) then the one in Corneria. It would be great if they brought the ship's size back, and instead of being in Sector Z again you could travel to different areas of the Lylat System. In short, I'd like a Great Fox/Lylat Cruise 2.

I'd rather we got FoD than Green Greens from Melee, and we got a Cookie Country themed stage. Also, I don't like Rainbow Cruise very much.

I like the sound of a Cookie Country stage. I'd be willing to trade Green Greens for FoD if it means that we get Cookie Country. As for Rainbow Cruise, I like the alternatives just as much. Peach's Castle would be my second choice.

Good question. On the one hand, it allows us to see our favorite stages in a new way. On the other hand, the older, "worse" (I can't think of a better word) graphics are a part of what gives the stages their charm and sense of nostalgia. (Besides, I think it would be awesome having an HD Mario battling an HD Bowser on the N64 Peach's Castle stage. Complete with blocky graphics and a flat background. )

I think this coming game, there shouldn't be any "Classic Stages" but they should be normal choices along with new ones. Only because a lot of the Brawl stages represent certain series as a whole SO WELL.

Like Summit, Smashville, Distant Planet, and Castle Siege. They represent the series so well. Stages like the Halberd and Mushroomy Kingdom can go. I'd rather a "New Super Mario Bros." Style side-scroller take the place of "Mushroomy Kingdom."

I think it would be cool if Halberd appeared on Wii U as a returning stage, but that's just wishful thinking at this point.
