I decided to make a retexture for the result stage, reminding players to save replays. This is for tournaments, for people who have unlimited replays.

I've asked this on multiple topics, both on here and Stack Smash, but no one has answered, so that's my excuse for making a topic.

I want to change the area that the characters stand in after a match is over, but I can't find that in the stage PAC list downloaded from illinialex's topic or anywhere else for that matter. Someone has mentioned that the only edit that has been done that he knew of was making it look like Melee.

I figure that it must be somewhere, since the custom stage textures aren't in the PAC list either. So, does anyone have the PAC needed to edit or at least know what it's called?

What exactly can be edited?

Anything besides the recently used MAY-LAY! results screen?

@ Bionic: Thanks! Led me right to what I needed!

@ Kinzer: What I'm hoping to do is put a big reminder in the background to save the replays for tournaments. And...just see what I can do with it in general.

If you could do that, I'd use that texture. I usually forget to save matches I want to save... it's hard in the heat of the moment.

Huh, the stage is fighting hardcore. I don't have as much experience with stages, so the errors I'm getting don't make as much sense, even when using the Generic FAQ.

I keep getting TCCheckMipMapConvParams: numLOD is greater than image 0 minimum dimension for 059MenSelchrcontr.0, and according to the FAQ, it should be because I have a backup folder somewhere, but I don't. :\

For a second I thought this was a thread about editing stages, then I realized its just texture asshattery.

You fail me so much, smashboards.

Dantarion, just to let you know, there's 3 things I'd like you to fix in your PSAMod.

1. The displayed base knockback of any move is the same value as the shield damage of that move, even if the base knockback is a different number.

2. Can you make it so with throws, the parameters are called what they should be (Base Knockback, etc.)?

4. can you make it so I don't have to type in 04070100 every time to make a frame speed modifier?

Anyways, I wouldn't like it if it constantly prompted me to use replays. The melee results screen is beastly anyways.

This is seriously not the topic to discuss it in :ohwell:

yeah but he was just here, and I needed to catch him quick. And, this is a (semi) useless thread anyway, why not get some use out of it?

Yeah, before smash box it could be extracted with STASH but the changed TGAS needed to be hexxed in.
Smash Box might work now, but I'm not sure.
(I'm the guy who made the melee results screen btw)
Also, only about the first 10 tgas or so are textures for the stage, the rest are for the menu, but there are about 300 of those.

BrawlScape can also be used to edit it, I just checked.

Don't complain because someone told you to ask in the Q&A topic because you had a very simple question with a very simple answer. Yes, this does have a simple answer, but not a lot of people know how and people that do know how normally neglect helping people in the Q&A thread. Quit your whining, your only hurting yourself.

Sorry if I sounded mean, but your not really going to get very far trying to make others feel your pain.

Also, I have asked in many Q&A topics, and never got a response, hence what I said at the beginning of the topic.

Anyway, this is what I have. I think it may be good enough.
