The story is that someone found a scan of Animal Crossing in Coro Coro, but said (or assumed) it was Famitsu. As such, everyone thought it was a load of crap. So, it's status is "in the air".

Yes, the interview had nothing to do with brawl, but instead was about the new animal crossing game for the wii. Someone posted the interview on the forums with a fake translation discussing the role of creating an AC character for brawl, talking about how he uses his axe and fishing pole as weapons. It was confirmed to be false after someone translated the article and it said nothing about smash bros brawl.

Ok, I can't make out when people reply which rumor they're talking about! Before you comment please state the rumor. Some people are talking about the animal crossing char one and some are talking about the ten hour SSE more characters one! I think we're supposed to be talking about the later. As for me, I hope the ten hour SSE mo... blah blah blah is true, but there is no telling.
