Eat poison and shoot yourself at the same time? Ouch, good luck with that.I'm gonna commit suicide like Hitler did if we don't get THE best update EVER on January 7th.
Indeed. And people saying crap like "**** YOU SAKURAI WE WANT UPDATES" are being selfish. He isn't going to waste his vacation over for Dojo updates.I don't think it has anything to do with weening people off of updates. The developers are people too, and I think they're just taking a little vacation. That's understandable.
But they aren't people! They're developers! Lol.I don't think it has anything to do with weening people off of updates. The developers are people too, and I think they're just taking a little vacation. That's understandable.
They'll probably just do a Youko return/re-hash, maybe? Sometimes they seriously get so off topic I don't find it hard to believe they can find something slightly Brawl-related to talk about. XD!!Guess we won't get a new SMYN, huh?
Yeah, I'd say so.Otherwise they're just having a little vacation, like many people here have 1 or 2 weeks off for christmas and newyear. It's nothing special.
No. I'm the opposite. I would rather know the roster than know how to unlock all of them. It's more of a surprise to me when I see "Challenger Approaching" and don't have any idea which character it is.This is not related to that conversation, but don't you guys kind of NOT want to know the roster? I mean, wouldn't it be better for a surprise? I haven't checked the Dojo in a while. The last time I checked it was a couple days after the Sonic update. I wouldn't mind knowing how to unlock a character, but I would not want to know what the character was. I think of looking at the dojo is kind of ruining the surprise, well, at least for new characters any way.
Well I think it's a way of just not showing some things, because Nate B. did say he has been working on the Dojo for quite sometime. The updates are already made so them taking a vacation has nothing to do with it. This is for the hype.Sakurai woke up one day and decided to be a ****.
im not like that, im just kinda sad because i wont have any more updates until school starts...Indeed. And people saying crap like "**** YOU SAKURAI WE WANT UPDATES" are being selfish. He isn't going to waste his vacation over for Dojo updates.
And I lol when people expect a huge-mega update on the 7th.
Now that I think about it, it does seem pretty good to do. For example, You know Sonic is in the game. You go do something, then you complete it, then, what do you know? You are challenged by Sonic! Your plan is much better.No. I'm the opposite. I would rather know the roster than know how to unlock all of them. It's more of a surprise to me when I see "Challenger Approaching" and don't have any idea which character it is.
Plus, they're not going to reveal everything on the Dojo. There are still going to be lots of things we won't know until we actually get the game. That being said, you're missing out on a lot of really awesome updates. It's your own choice to not look at the Dojo, of course. But it'll be pretty hard to avoid seeing the roster (among other things) once the 24th rolls around. You'd have to avoid any and all sites related to Brawl or Smash Bros. and even parts of youtube, I'm sure.
well, he said all 3rd party characters would be unlockable so obviously sonic and snake are unlocks, but they released them for publicity. And he said the demo is a limited roster. This is just my hunch, you dont have to agree with it. It just makes the most sence to me.Every character on the Dojo IS NOT on the starting roster. A lot of them will be. Let's say around 15. And to that post with "the problem of what to do with hidden characters arises...". He probably meant all of the characters that he wanted in the demo but are hidden characters in the game. Remember what he said about "I guess we could put Sonic in there" right after he said that? Sheesh some people just don't take things in the right way.
