not all attacks have to have the same attack animation as in the anime... That could have been any of those moves...

And ROFLMFAO!!! Yeah rayquaza can totally ko kyogre with thunderbolt! XD

Kyogre has 140 base special defense... Thunderbolt is not going to ko it...

I hate pokemon n00bs like you that think they know everything cause they watch the dubbed anime

Rayquazza as a boss? I hope he is, but I think it may very well be just him appearing as a cameo who just happened to have gotten brainwahed by Ancient Minister

My simple (probably metioned before) guess

At the point where fox turns around after "freeing" Diddy, is when the fight begins. I think Ray will be flying along the top of the sreen, doing some beam attacks, and the occasional swoop of the bottom of the stage. When he is defeated, his last attempt to kill you is that ball/beam/whatever, but of course you shine it and Ray is owned.

you know what might also be true is that fox was in the arwing fighting rayquaza and then ray got a good shot on fox then before fox went down he got one in on ray thats why he was in the lake he was just coming up to finish the job and blast fox but then got owned (but not defeted)

My best guess is that it was merely a cut scene to introduce diddy and fox joining together. However I wouldn't be surprised if Ray. just sprang out of the water and started attack and would be a boss. They showed the lake for quit a bit after ray. got wtfpwnt

No. Fox was flying near the Halberd and he got shot down.

Weren't you paying attention to the in-game move animations?

Out of all those, the only one that makes even a little sense is D-Pulse.

In-game animations don't necessarily mean anything either. They often change pretty drastically between games.

In game in pokemon battle revolution dragon pulse doesn't look anything like that... So it can't be dragon pulse then!

no, see everyone has this all wrong. rayquaza just fell underwater making it look like he was suffering so he could get his bro arceus all up in that b and dominate.

I think it would be a waste to include Rayquaza in the DK world only to remove him completely. He is probably not the boss immediately afterwards, but it would be surprising if he was not later on in the level.

You can choose Kirby and fight Petey Pirahna, so franchise crossover has little meaning. And I think boss characters in SE are a way to incorporate very large enemies in the game, especially those with fans but it would be too odd to try to work them into Brawl. This along with some brawl villains that are PCs, since after all its Halberd flying around dropping subspace soldiers (though I bet metaknight just got beat down and kicked off it).

Yes, well that was obvious that Rayquaza was a boss. Anyone who doubted it was probably stupid to begin with. Looks like a fun boss-since Rayqauza is one of the strongest Pokémon. Statwise, it's tied with Mewtwo, Ho-oh, Lugia, and one 4th gen Pokémon as the strongest. I hope it has it's legendary power, and is A HARD, FUN, EXCITING BOSS! :)

He's a boss. hoorah! Sweet looking boss...Kinda wish it had something to do with the air though...Like moving around clouds or something kinda like what smg does

Glad his being a boss is confirmed.

He could still fly around to attack, or the fight could move to the sky somehow.

Seems you fight him right away... As Diddy and Fox are at the same spot... Maybe at a different part of the shore Diddy was attacked? I think also in the Subspace Emissary movie, the Bowser event is before this. Maybe after... :/

I think it's after, thought it''s really hard to tell xD

Bowser could cut the battle short, hitting Ray with that gun turning him into a trophy, then go after Fox and Diddy.

I think it all depends on whether Bowser is actually working for the SSE, And if Ray is working for the SSE

Or Diddy and Fox could turn him into a trophy with the stand =S

I'm definitely glad Ray is confirmed as a boss now. Can't wait to fight him xP
