no, but some of the posts in this thread seem to point that ray can't be a boss because it wasn't part of their idea.

I'd hope to see Mewtwo as both a Boss and Playable. He has the whole "i can control people's minds becuz i'm sex" thing going, so I can't see why he couldnt control rayquaza.

My favorite Pokemon related part of this video was not just the boss related qualities of Rayquaza, but how interimmersed the Nintendo-Worlds are: Pokemon might randomly live in certain places, giving rise to a whole new amount of boss possibilities.

I wouldn't be surprised if he acted *** a boss and an unlockable Pokemon. I think it may be a cameo appearance though but fighting him would be interesting. And on a side note Doexys is on my list of really lame Pokemon. I just don't find him cool at all. I don't watch the show or the movies but I suffered through the Deoxys movie and from what I saw Rayquaza wtfpwns Deoxys. I don't get the following with that corny alien Poke lol.

Also I think Fox looks just fine. He needed to change to stick with the times. It would be nice to see him make a come back.

I wonder what happened to DK. After he gets his bananas back Bowser shows up. Are there any videos that fill the gap between those events?

Rayquaza was somehow kicked out of his territory by the Halberd. Then fox comes and blah, blah, blah. Then Fox and Diddy either fight Rayquaza (the obvious boss) or go through a level and fight him after. After defeated, Rayquaza takes them to the Halberd

Second of all rayquaza is the ruler of the skies, it settles the dispute between Kyogre and Groudon on wether to extend land or water... Even though kyogre could destroy both Groudon and Rayquaza... easily...

Anyway here's my theory...

Bowser and Donkey kong start fighting and Donkey Kong tells diddy kong to get to safety. Right after bowser or donkey kong is about to beat the other the Subspace army comes and sets up a bomb to capture the jungle. Donkey kong and Bowser are forced to team up and they take the koopa clown thing to safety. Meanwhile diddy kong is at the edge of the jungle and then rayquaza appears. After Fox shines the Rayquaza they start to run off when Rayquaza blasts out of the water and start attacking both of them. They beat Rayquaza and then they see the subspace army coming in. Fox and Diddy Kong beat the army and then they start running back to where Donkey kong was. When they get there they see the bomb is about to asplode in a few seconds. Rayquaza bursts out of nowhere and saves them cause it was good at heart... what a nice ending

YOU don't know a **** thing about Rayquaza. Hyper Beam goes like a laser, Deoxys uses it if I'm correct. Energy Ball is GREEN not teal/ light blue. Ice beam, don't you think it would LOOK like ice beam? It's called ice beam for a reason!
And focus blast is utterly stupid to think of. If it's not dragon pulse (remember, it comes out of the MOUTH of the pokemon), then I'll be ****ed.
Plus, Rayquaza can learn thunderbolt and is FASTER than Kyogre.

here's how i see it in the video when ( in which I assume is fox's) arwing was shot out of the sky by the halberd it came down and sort of hit rayquaza making him fall into the water which explains why he attacked it. Diddy kong was standing right there and rayquaza mistaken him as the one in the arwing.

Nah the reason he attacked is he's like a planet guard dog (see my above post) he's territorial. In that Deoxys movie (hated all parts that didn't involve Rayquaza busting up something. He obliterates a Deoxys DBZ style simply because it came to earth.

It might've been a critical hit, and if the attack was Dragon Pulse (which I assume it was), it would've been Super Effective as well. Even if it wasn't critical, if Fox's reflector acts anything like the move Mirror Coat, the damage would be doubled, which would be a lot running off Rayquaza's 150 base (Special) Attack. So it's possible /nerd

First of all who the hell cares what attack it was. I mean seriously I doubt sakurai based it off a certain attack. Plus the attacks look different in different games. For example solar beam came out of their mouths in pokemon staduim but it comes from the sky in battle revolution.

Also Rayquaza doesnt beat kyogre and vice versa. It depends on EVs IVs natures items criticals but if i had to guess who would win: a tankish kyogre with ice beam would win with the quad weakness. He would most likely survive a thunderbolt >_>

Global Warming. There is no Ozone left so Rayquaza retreats to Oxygen-rich terrestrial waters.

Everyone knows Brawl is going to be all about Global Warming awarness. Just look at the Ice Climbers' stage.

This may be Rayquaza's story.

Scene 1

Rayquaza was flying around the ozone layer until one day, the Halberd appears. The Subspace Army then attacks Rayquaza and successfully captures it.​

Scene 2

Rayquaza is brought into the Halberd, and was being examined by the Primids. Later, the Ancient Minister appears and casts a spell on Rayquaza. Rayquaza gets brainwashed, and ends up under the Minister's command.​

Scene 3

Rayquaza leaves the Halberd and went into a pond near the jungle (the spot where the Arwing crash-landed). When Diddy shows up, it pops out of the water and does the actions seen on the video. After getting hit by its own Dragon Pulse, Rayquaza flees back into the pond.​

Scene 4

Later on, Rayquaza will probably ambush Diddy and Fox again. First, you'll need to get away from it as you try to clear a certain stage. Afterwards, the actual battle against Rayquaza takes place.​

Scene 5

After Fox and Diddy beat Rayquaza, the Ancient Minister's spell vanishes and Rayquaza recovers from the spell. It'll then help Fox and Diddy out by taking them to the Halberd.​

Scene 6

Fox and Diddy ride on Rayquaza's back, trying to reach the Halberd. They'll have to avoid the Auroros' that appear to attack you. Not only that, the Halberd will start firing cannons at you when you get too close to it. Once you've reached the Halberd, Primids will try to stop you from getting a safe landing onto the Halberd.​

Scene 7

Fox and Diddy successfully get on the Halberd and Rayquaza flies off.​

Mistake there. Fox did NOT get attacked by Rayquaza. It was actually the Halberd that clawed at it and it crashed down

yeah it would be cool to see team rocket (jesse and james) or a rocket grunt as a boss character.
