Never bothered with that game. You think he'd be their new ride, since the Subspace Army took down Fox's Arwing?

Rayquaza isn't

Rayquaza isn't boss i think, because Why the heck fox owned it And there shiuld come like 20 vids more about the character. The vid was just because they are saying fox is good. Its same as the banana truck... (Yay banana truck is the boss)

There no possible that its final boss. At maximum its somekind of boss like at the end of pokemon level.

It would be nice if it can be boss. I bit liked it.

Since the other topic was locked, I´ll repost my theory here: What if rayquaza had been driven out of the skies by the halberd and is now hiding in the lake. Rayquaza attacks diddy and fox because it thinks they are from the ssa. And after knocking some sence into rayquaza, it decides to help fox and diddy escape before a subspace bomb explodes in the jungle.
Avoiding the Halberd ship.
see? makes sence.

Very doubtful. The Claw would probably grab Rayquaza, and the beam would obilerate him instantly.

I like your theory, SeBz. I was wondering why he was hiding out in the lake.
It's also possible that Rayquaza is the one that shot down Fox's arwing, even though we've seen footage and screenshots of the Halberd shooting at Fox too... well, you never know. Fox could narrowly escape the Halberd, and right when he thinks he's in the clear... *Rayquaza cry!* :O!!

I like the idea of Rayquaza as an ally though, but it'll probably never happen...
I'm just happy to see 'ol Ray at all, though. I hated 3rd gen but he was one of my few favorites from there. Cool design, cool cry too.

To some it up, Fox was hit by the Halberd's Many Guns (see the beginning movies), He is likly a cameo by the look of things...He just noticed the Crashed Arwing and shot at it I do not know why he did not shoot at Diddy though...

I highly doubt he is a boss. It looks like fox took him out anyway, and then he motions for diddy to follow him. I don't think they would make a pokemon like that a boss.

Guys, Fox DIDN'T defeat him. He only reflected the blast back at him. He fell back into the water. He isnt done yet.

Fox wants diddy to get back up and help him fight the boss. It's just beginning.

I have a feeling he'll be one of those bosses that's like, "ROAR ROAR I AM GOING TO KILL YOU IN A FERAL FRENZY", then once you beat him, he turns into, "Oh wtf, I was controlled by so and so, or I went crazy because of some item, or my girlfriend cheated on me with a Wailord, but now that I'm beaten senseless, I can help you. Hop on."

Rayquaza must've been brainwashed by the Ancient Minister. I think that sometime during the adventure, you'll free Rayquaza from the Minister's grasp and it'll take you to the Halberd.

I don't know why that didn't cross my mind when I saw the video, but yea, Rayquaza is definitely going to be a boss, and what an awesome choice that is!

However him transporting you, might be a bit easy to get to the Halberd, he has to shot down and then we are into the metriod universe...

Here is a comment that I already posted...

i'm almost posative you'll be fighting Ryzuka (whatever) in real time at some point because:
a: why would he just die in the same sene he was inroduced?
b: that part with the reflector seemed WAY too specific, it was like the game was saying, " USE THE DOWN B REFLECTOR MOVE WHEN HE SHOOTS THE LASER" you know what i mean?

I bet I can guess how this level will go;

Fox pwns Rayquaza, goes through the level with Diddy.

All seems normal, until.... RAYQUAZA FLIES OUT OF NOWHERE OMG!!!!!1one!11!!!

Rayquaza isn't one if the nicer pokemon, more to himself, so i don't really see him as an ally

I'm going to guess that after the cut-scene Fox and Diddy go through a level, culminating in a boss fight with Rayquaza. I think that if the boss fight took place straight after the cut-scene then Rayquaza would've been shown getting up again at the end of it, and I don't think a cut-scene focusing on him would've been included if he didn't have some larger part to play in the plot, and it would just be silly to think that he could be playable.

I hadn't thought of him being influenced by the Minister and becoming an ally after being defeated, but I like that idea. I also like the idea of him transporting the players' characters to the Halberd; in fact he could be a whole stage. His design could work well as a scrolling, dynamic stage if he's flying and there are enemies coming at the players. This could also explain why he was selected to be included rather than any of the other, perhaps more well-known, Pokemon that could have been used as a boss.

Petey Piranha is a very well known Mario character and has been in multiple games playing a huge role.

Come on, any one bad-guy can be a boss in SsE. PP for example was just the first boss in Super Mario Sunshine, and held no real significance after beating him at all.

It's true that he isn't that nice, and that he's an antagonist, but if you played Pokemon Mystery Dungeon before you'd know that he can be an ally when the climax or crisis moment of the story comes into play.

I woudn't mind Rayquaza as a boss. It might be cool.

Also I think he uses Aura sphere cause it wasn't a beam.

Is it just me or is Rayquaza smaller than it actually looks; I mean it was bigger in the movies and now it looks like it's Gyrados size...oh well, just wondering. It'll be fun to fight against Rayquaza!
