...I mean this looks pretty sick and all but... where's the Ray boy? Cover doesn't seem to imply his appearance unless he's a DLC campaign later :/

I'm probably still buying this whether there's Rayman in it or not but talk about a wasted opportunity
Hold on. We can't throw away the towel just yet. We still have those weird Rayman trademarks and that cryptic message from Brush.

Welp, Mario + Rabbids is now 2 for 2 in leaking ahead of the official reveal, lmaoooo. Doesn't look like Rayman's in this one either, though, they seem to be going in a Mario Galaxy themed direction with Rabbid Rosalina and the fact that your on a journey through space.

Disappointing, but not surprising.

That being said, there is a silver lining to all of this.

If Mario + Rabbids Sparks of Hope is any indication, it's that the relationship between Nintendo and Ubisoft is continuing to go strong, and it seems it'll continue to be that way for the foreseeable future.

Keep your heads up, guys.

I just wish for once a gaming journalist interviewing someone from Ubisoft ask them "What the hell? Where is Rayman?"

Some have no problem asking Nintendo about Metroid 24/7, and they are getting two new games now. Would be cool to see someone put pressure on Ubisoft, but maybe not to the extent Metroid fans did, lol.

This seems to be the case with most video game IP. People get there hopes up but the companies seem to never list.

Other examples:

Geno - Square Enix
Banjo-Kazooie (Game) - Rare
Waluigi - Nintendo
Metroid - Nintendo
Megaman - Capcom

The mediocre performance of Rayman Legends is probably what is hurting his chances.
