1. Don't insult or bash anyone for maining a character you don't like. Everyone has different tastes than you, so they might think differently. You're free to have criticism about mains, but that doesn't mean you have to outright put someone down for that.
2. If a user almost always has the same character as a main (like me ), they probably just did it as a joke or part of a theme. Their mains still apply tho, so they can still be rated. Just don't rate them for reasons like "lack of variety on mains", because obviously that doesn't apply here.
3. You're free to have criticism about mains, like said before. If you have suggestions or ways that they could improve, you can say them.

6/10 Only for lacking a main in Smash 3DS, and not really maining any character in Brawl and Project M.

9/10 Link is pretty good in most of the games, but I haven't played 64 yet. SSBM Roy is just amazing, G&W is alright, seeing as I've been whooped by one before, and I haven't played 3DS or WiiU yet, but Mega Man looks like a good character.
