R.O.B. is in the background of captain falcon pic

In the recent update of the DOJO a thing in the background looks like R.O.B. It is behind captain falcon and R.O.B. Heres the pic:

thats part of the stage in port town, its not the character. hes also part of the level in the fzero game port town is from

that is because R.O.B. is the new falcon in the sense that he is just so much fun to play.

that was in the background of that same level in the f zero game. It sure does look like rob.

I must admit that was a cameo I missed in the original game. If you watch the intro in any Port Town level in F-Zero GX (Gamecube) you'll see the large structure that looks just like ROB. You may even see it when zooming around the level, I can't say I watched the scenery much.
