What are some situations you guys look for to get a good Dsmash with K. Rool ? I find 90% of the stocks with it are either a lucky miss input or the hardest of reads. I want to try and identify times to look for it without going for a blind hard read. It kills so early and taking advantage of its properties seems like it can be super useful.

Without scoring a bury from dtilt there's no way to guarantee dsmash hitting. It's too slow and opponents have to be right on top of you. Hard reads on rolls or ledge traps are the main ways to use it.

It's also a nice punish for people who try to mindlessly shark you from below

It's a good option off ledge. Do whatever option you think that they think you'll go for, then before they can make the punish use D-smash. Also, I find a lot of success when I use it to counter aggressive options, mainly dash attack and grab.
