Proof of a holiday update soon?

I noticed something on today's update. All of the screenshots were in winter (or at least Santa's place...)! I don't think anyone said anything about this. And think about it: Sakurai showed us a Halloween update, and X-mas is the biggest holiday around here.
Also, I liked the update.

Sakurai will give a crappy update on Christmas. Everyone expects to get something good, so it won't happen. Remember, every time we expect something, he throws us teh mindgamzez!

Anyways, I still hope that we get a good update, no new character or anything, but maybe-just maybe- a captain falcon update?

Seriously, I'm takin' this with a grain of salt...the way Sakurai's been updating lately, and the fact that Christmas is a religious holiday...don't get your hopes up people...

We've been getting better updates lately (even though i'm a sucker for them all). And aren't all/most holidays religious?

A lot of holidays are religious...and as I remember, Sakurai didn't do anything for them...Halloween is universal, so he did something for it (Pumpkin on the stage), but he did nothing for Thanksgiving, which is more of an American Christian thing...if he does do something special tomorrow *crosses fingers for Krystal*, it'll ruin my theory, and TBH, I hope he does, but I'm not getting my hopes up...considering how slow his updates have been...

Actually, in Japan Christmas isn't much of a religious holiday at all. It's about as much a religious holiday as Halloween could be considered a Satanic holiday for people here.

But as I've said in countless other topics... if Sakurai gives us any special update on a holiday, it'll be New Years because that's actually an important Japanese holiday. Not Thanksgiving, not Halloween, not December 3rd (I still don't understand why people thought there would be a special update for the old american release date), and quite possibly not even Christmas (more likely than the others but still, I doubt it).

It probably won't be anything out of the ordinary. We've already got our red update for the week, so I doubt we'll get anyone new - but perhaps we'll get a double update with the Snowman music from Earthbound Zero.

Why a Christmas update? Not all of the world caters to the commercial or religious Christmas. We didn't have any special updates for Islamic Holidays, or how about any day in Hanukkah? The only thing remotely celebrated by a good portion of the world be New Year's, but then China has its own New Year's day so even that point is void.

Don't expect anything. Seriously.
